Theres nothing wrong with my car but I ised it once to run s dashboard light test and it illuminated the dash but then only half my dashboard lit up. I ended the test snd then my csr wouldn't start. My nattery showed 12v on statting then dropped to 6v while running the test. I had to jumpstart my vehicle snd then i had an ABS light TPMS light and traction control off light. After driving a short while all the lights turned off. I tested the battery with a voltmeter and it read 12.8 with the car off. What did i do wrong, do i have faulty unit? Im going to get the battery yesyed tomorrow with a minute man. I just don't see it being my battery it cranks no problem... Any input appreciated.
@@150SCOOTER Tested it with a minute man the next day read 12.8v but failed for a bad cell, replaced the battery and bought a 12v power supply that keeps it under 15v , 3 amp trickle/maintainer, 20 amp charger for next time just to be to be on the safe side.
First the coolant flush, now the rear wheel removal, your videos are helping me out with this bike left and right. Glad you keep uploading these. I do have a factory service manual but I still love to see actual pics/videos of what's going on if possible.
I am getting ready to change the spark plugs in my 2018 pacifica at 246000 miles with no problems with the champion spark plugs. They are made for chrysler engines. I have worked on dodge and chrysler engines for over 25 years and they work better then anyother spark plug. Champion spark plugs don't work as well in gm or fords.
I liked the video. I managed to replace the piece with a new Mopar part. It was definitely the part because it was clicking in my hand with the car off the first couple minutes I was trying to remove it. But it still happens with the new part any ideas?
Apparently it is mainly coding that can be affected by expired subscriptions, and the odd one off vehicle, but it says right on the Autel website it generally should still work.
If you pull the throttle on a cheap disc lock, it'll break. If you do it with an expensive one, it's more likely to damage your rotor/caliper, but you are more likely to not lose your bike. Speaking from experience.
Weird. I wired mine just like yours and I have left side buttons working but not right. I checked and double-checked the wire positions. All good there. My unit came with them already in a pnp harness for it.
Have you lost the ability to program tire pressure sensor id numbers into your vehicle computer with your scan tool? The one I bought allowed me to program in the id codes for 2 of my new tire pressure sensors on a 06 dodge grand caravan, but I didn't do all 4 at one time. After I finally changed the other tires, the reader wouldn't connect to the van any longer so I updated the software on the scanner. Now, it will no longer allow me to do anything but see the id numbers. Even then, I have to fight through various menus to get to that point.
Don't dish the dealer mechanic because when you and your so called smart mechanic can't fix it you take it to the dealer, they have no problem fixing it. The dealer mechanic is 5 to 6 years ahead of your mechanic in technology.
Lol, champion spark plugs are good millions of cars have them no problem. You may have used the plugs for the wrong application. On some older volvos, you can not use platinum plugs. The coils can't fire correctly you need regular copper plugs.
@150SCOOTER it's the clearance brother, that I want to see you deal with. There a wall in the way. So what tools did you use etc? The close side you have all the room in th world. The far side by the wall not so much. That's why I'm ranting.
@150SCOOTER Thank you for reply, I'll give you thumbs up. After I try and if you are correct. Hahahaha....no seriously, thank you for tye reply. I'm waiting on the parts. Be here Monday, i ordered from Mopar, 6 injectors , spark plugs and manifold gaskets. Hence why I been watching videos. I'm a grease monkey I'm 44 years old. Never had RU-vid as a kid. Pretty cool can watch a video and get at it. God Bless and Thanks again....
You can order the cord extension for this scanner for 15$. 1ft 6 inch extension. I just purchase the same scanner and it recommended and extension for the cord in the usually bought together tab, so I got it. Thanks for the reviews. In one other review of the same scanner, the mechanic tested to see if it would program keys and this scanner does program keys.
Hey I have problem with the air conditioner in my Chrysler Pacifica in the front the air works just fine and normal but in the back part it only blows and doesn’t cool it’s a 2020 model do you know what the problem might be?
Pacifica has two separate hvac units. Your rear A/C evaporator might be leaking or defective. Located behind the right panel trim. You might want to have your dealer check it.
great video thank you I just have a quick question? I have a spark plug gap tool with me would you happen to know the measure in inches on a spark plug Honda shadow ?
Anybody know how much the update costs every 2yrs, I am just a home gamer that would use it sparingly and not too often, also can you still use it just as OBD2 without updating? Thanks
