My heart breaks as I spent two days paddle boarding and fishing on the swift river in Western Massachusetts. I’ve never seen a more beautiful river. It was crystal clear you could see all the way to the bottom even on the rainy day, which was the second. I could see the fish I can only assume they saw me too because I did not catch a single one

Good job dude 38 out of 150 is a win in my book. Not far from ya either I’m right up around Lakeland. Do several of our local tournaments so maybe I’ll run into you at one man.
Question: I am a bass fisherman in vacation in longboat key, I never do saltwater fishing and I've been interested in catching a big snook. The rig I have set up is a 20 pound leader on a size three circle hook with a large egg sinker above the swivel. I've been catching pin fish with a different rig on a smaller rod, and I also have cut squid, I was wondering if I should use live pin fish, cut pinfish, or squid? Is that rig good? It's all I have and I don't want to buy anything else and if it works it works. Thanks for the video!
hey Ben, awesome vid! I live up in Ga and fish mainly Lanier and freshwater. Still, I love love love Snook fishing from the beach. Started it yrs ago in sanibel! I’m 90% artificial but do enjoy live bait from beach later in the morning when artificial dies off. It is best way and guaranteed way to catch in pods for sure!! Heading down to anna maria in early June, so anxious to fish there since I never have. I plan to do some big swimbait nite fishing too. Loved your vid!
You honestly should be ashamed lol you did everything wrong in multiple levels from 20lb leader for big snook to using a half pound bait on a medium light bass rod then too not fixing your wind knot and a myrical you caught that fish but this video is seriously should be titled what not to do........that's also a shame a florida fisherman solf his gear to chase bass smh yeah just stay bass fishing
Thank you for going over everything so thoroughly. It’s really helpful for guys like me that got a little bit later start than some of these kids and it’s been helping me in my local club tournaments. Keep up the good work !
Greetings from Southwestern Pennsylvania 👋 you guys defiantly put the hammer down on those birds. I’ve been wanting to hunt waterfowl down in Florida (generally in the Tampa Bay Area) for awhile since my uncle has a place in Clearwater. You guys are very fortunate to have a wide variety of bird species in your area. Up North here we don’t even have a season for teal. It’s all Mallards, wood ducks, and Canada Geese and Divers you have to get more towards Lake Erie
Cool video. I’m in California and we’re not allowed to use tickle sticks or nets. We have to grab them by hand. How long into the season was this hunt?
Ben, your old 6th grade teacher Andrews here. Just spoke with your dad. Glad to learn you are enjoying life on the wild side. Hope you are using some of those beautiful feathers for fly tying. Always admired your beautiful wildlife art back in the day. Stay safe and enjoy the great outdoors.
I fished those same two back to back tournaments as a co. It was definitely a cold and windy weekend but fun at the same time. I caught a few both days as a co. biggest fish i had was like 3 1/2 but i netted a 28.2 pound bag for my boater Joey who came in second by 2 ozs the second day. One of my favorite central Florida lakes to fish. Enjoyed your practice video. Check out my day with Joey on my channel to see how he caught them. Again I enjoyed your video. New sub here so look forward to more. Im from south Ga so I'm always watching videos of Central Florida lakes.
Nice videos production. Table rock is a nightmare in the fall and winter. Nice job being a southern guy. I really like the end where you go over your baits and setups. Really appreciate that. Most won't give that up. Earned a follower for that
