You should only rely on preserve UVs when making small changes or on relatively symmetrical objects. If you have triangles or complex shapes then it gets even trickier. If you want to make big changes to your mesh then you'll definitely need to re-unwrap.
Great tutorial! Good luck. Just one thing, when you moved a vertex for example to X or Y axes, just click and move the next vertex instantly don't select and move, because the software memorize the last axe move so it's kind of a matter of time:)
i was having a really hard time figuring out how to do the walk cycle. you really helped me a lot to understand this better. really looking forward to more informative videos like these.
i know im asking randomly but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot my password. I appreciate any tips you can give me
@Jensen Damon i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Oh hey, sorry I didn't notice your comment. You are very welcome. You can actually toggle between the compact material editor and the slate material editor on the top left menu dropdown of the material editor window. You can still change the standard material to the physical material by selecting it in the drop down menu (located under the material spheres and above shader basic parameters). Hope that helps.
