Hey thank you, this is the most informative video out there for hatching these eggs! I’ve watch countless videos and have no success smh. After watching this I feel confident I’ll be able to hatch mine out. Thanks again!. I subbed, great video bro. Have a blessed day.
@@AnimalJeff-lh7fh heck yea man that’s good to hear! I’m new to RU-vid, well my channel is. Hope my channel grows like your has! Keep your videos coming! God bless.
I have the same tent. Free standing, easy set up. Nice, rock solid, no issues. For me (6'1", 200, 67yo w/achy joints), it's the probably the smallest tent I'll use. I added tie-outs on both side panels to provide a few extra inches without touching the walls when sleeping. Entering/exiting is a little tight for me, maybe I'll limber up(!).
Hey I’m using a damp napkin on the bottom and dry one i lay the egg clutches on inside the same container you showed. Is that a good procedure? It’s been about 2-3 weeks now and the eggs are not molded ready to hatch as of yet.
I have native fish to my area. I had Sunfish and a small Spotted Gar. I moved the gar out when he got to big. If the fish can fit in the frogs mouth it will eat it if it gets the chance. Also if the frog can fit in the fish mouth the fish might try to eat the frog. so be careful. Thanks for watching the videos.
Thanks so much for subscribing and your comment. I will definitely be making lots more videos. We love our neighbors to the north! What a beautiful country.
Yes they can. if you have a lid it keeps the humidity high and will work. I just had a clutch hatch like that. I typically get a much better hatch rate when I do exactly like I explained in the video though.
These turtles are also very smart, I had one called Dino, and I let him run around the house. When I got on the floor and called for him, he would come to me. 😂
That's awesome. They are so much fun to keep. each one has their own personality. please subscribe if you're r not already. Thanks for your comment it helps the channel
Hate to bust your bubble but they are reptiles. They are Classified as reptile. learned that in 3rd grade. reptiles are born with lungs and typically lay eggs on land. Most amphibians are born with gills and later develop lungs and lay eggs in water. Thanks for the engagement.
Hi, thanks for your question. Its surprisingly hard to find them for sale anymore. I think is because they are becoming invasive in many areas. you might try Morphmarket.com but im not sure if the have them on there anymore. Backwaterreptiles.com had some not to long ago. You might want to look on local FaceBook Groups. I see them on there sometimes. I really hope you find one soon. If I come across anything ill shoot you a message.
