Your first class ticket EK MNL-DXB-JFK/EWR equals the $1800 plus the $2.3k kids fare for PR127 JFK-MNL in economy class. For going first class from Newark/JFK to Manila on Emirates if you do it the opposite it's actually expensive but going the other way cheaper furthermore the reason why it's cheap. It has to do with OFWs that are able to fly First Class end up populating Manila to Dubai. Keep in mind others end up using the East Asian Rivals of Emirates JL NH CX KE/OZ/SQ MNL-NRT/HND/ICN/HKG/-EWR/JFK to take advantage of their frequent flights between Manila to Hong Kong Seoul Tokyo and Singapore.

So, after paying next to nothing for this ticket since you used points, you then proceeded to deliberately explain to the flight crew, in great detail, the sheer horror of your travel experience up to this point. Then, when the crew clearly went the extra mile with you and treated you like a prince, you still moaned. I'm sorry, but you seem to have an extreme sense of self-entitlement. There are millions on this planet who will never get the chance to fly anywhere even remotely close to first class.
I know it's a bit tired but I have nostalgic memories of cathay pre pandemic so going to Japan with them from LHR through HKG business with my kids. Price was half that of JAL and BA

Fully agree that ANA is in many ways the best airline. It’s for those who appreciate thoughtful service, omotenashi and understated luxury.

Great video - helpful and relevant. No wild graphics and HipHop music - THANKS! Anyone know: A350-900 Air France - how can one tell if it's the new business or old business you are booking ? Currently I'm booked on Polaris going direct from NY to India. But AF is so much cheaper albeit with connection. I'm amazed there's no business class check in line though and also -- can can anyone comment on Air France crew - -and also, staff at CDG lounge? I admit - I've never been to France and perhaps I am apprehensive of "stereotypes" :) that I've come to believe somewhat hopefully out of ignorance.
I've flown on one of Emirates oldest 777-300ER, A6-EBF, this 777-300ER was literally Emirates's sixth 777-300ER from 2005, took me twice from Beirut to DXB in 2015, and in 2017. I remember this 777 had no first class, had only buisness and economy class, and boy it was so dull and boring and outdated.
I took this product from Helsinki to Bangkok and thought the flight wasn’t worth the hype. Actually I thought is wasn’t as good as a bed seat, like Singapore airlines. The only good thing was it was cheap but definitely not better. The food on my flight just ok to a bit less than ok. However the flight attendants were A plus. Won’t use it again.
You were fortunate. First class Santiago Chile to Heathrow Seat wouldn't even recline at all automatically so entire 14 hour flight sitting in one position. The entire side console/lights didn't work The cabin stewards tried their best to help Most horrendous flight. My husband and I were traumatised by whole experience and the many more problems with the seating/flight. A very expensive once in a lifetime experience!!!!!! Even basic economy manages a recline seat you can operate

Even a private jet cannot offer this royal treatment. The only Con a private jet has over this option,is the airport's private lounge access, otherwise, I rather pay the $23k round trip with Emirates.
