Dawg the DLC wasn’t ass😂. Idk who you listening to. finish the game and the DLCs (they extend the story) before you judge it. I would love to see you react to all the legendary Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet including the DLCs. I just subscribed.
Not gonna lie you should play the paradox post game it's pretty good specifically in the character and story department plus some cool setpieces to say the least
29:04 thing about the Iron Swords and Proto-Beasts, you’ve gotta remember, they aren’t the actual legendary Pokémon. They’re basically…inferior reproductions. Still pretty strong of course, but they’re not the same as Raikou/Entei/Suicune and Cobalion/Terrakion/Virizion.
15:02 It’s real annnnd fake. Y’see while such a design is depicted in the games, you never obtain such a fused Pokémon like that fusion. It’s suppose to be what one character claims to have seen, but they can’t recall if what they saw was in real life, or if they were dreaming. Its suppose to be how the details of our dreams can blur together and fade away once we wake up. TLDR; mans might have/might not have had a real experience or a dream where he saw one of the paradox Pokémon, and as he came to, he immediately drew what he could recall before it left his mind. The recollection just happens to have characteristics of all of those paradox Pokémon; his brain’s filling in the blanks that he’s started to forget. The animator took the creative liberty to imagine if all three paradox Pokémon just happened to have the ability to fuse together and resemble the recovered drawing. Still really cool tho!
4:22 Bro what? You didn’t head down into Area Zero!?! That’s one of the best-if not, the strongest-parts of the game imo! Granted, getting to said good part is rather grueling, but you owe it to yourself to finish that portion!
Some ppl in the comments explained it on a surface level, but if you DO want a detailed explanation of paradox pokemon I recommend just watching Lockstin & Gnoggin's video on them. He's pretty thorough Abt Pokemon lore and it's entertaining :) (also if you didn't play the Area zero stuff in the game you actually didn't finish it lol! The end is pretty cool)
Paradox Pokemon are in a way the context of "What this pokemon looked on the past? (Dinosaur appearance like Scream Tail)" Or What they will work on the future? (Iron Thorns for example being a robot). They are basically pokemon of unknown origin has all of them manifested through "time machines" that are overwhelming strong compared to the present counterparts. Hope this explains all
Flutter mane being ghost fairy type, its immune to normal and fighting type moves because of its ghost half, its immune to dragon because of its fairy half, it resists psychic, its super effective against dark, dragon and fighting types from its fairy half (sucks to be koraidon who is dragon/fighting type with a x4 weakness to fairy), its super effective against psychic types from its ghost half, its weak to poison, steel and ghost types, it being fairy/ghost type makes dark neutral against flutter mane defensively, sense its x2 against ghost, but weak to fairy making it neutral
The iron swords don’t actually have the ability to fuse voltron style… Officially yet anyway. That was a pure creative liberty Terminal and Lockstin decided to make as a reference to the mysterious Pokémon in offical artwork that uses aspects of all 3 of them. As well as how since they are robots, it is possible that if someone created them, they could potentially have made them fusion compatible. Hopefully Gamefreak or the anime elaborate on all of this because the game currently just leaves it at just the sketch.
I love your reaction to paradox battle royal especially gnoggin’s explanation video. You should definitely checkout the other battle royal’s with gnoggin’s explanation as well he’s really good at explaining the lore.
There's explanation videos from Locksting and Gnoggin for each of the battle royale videos currently made. I suggest you to check them out. It would be interesting to see to react to the other battle royale videos and to their respective explanations.
the 3rd part of the story you do to unlock area zero is gathering herba mystica so arven can make sandwiches, which unlock new modes of travel with the box legendary, like swimming or gliding. There's more to the story than that, but I don't want to spoil the surprise for you
4:25 the dlc isn’t really that ass. It’s more content. The only reason it would be ass is because of the performance problems that the base game also had and some argue they’re worse. I thought the dlc was not too bad.
Performance is irrelevant if he vibes are chill that’s all that matters If The lore was good The writing was good The music was good The vibes were good The messages were good The character designs were good That’s all you really need
4:24 who ever told u the dlc was ass lied to u bro that shit was fire so much lore so much content Never listen to other haters always try thing yourself You missed out on some good shit cuz u listened to an L take U have to go through area zero to beat the game So u never beat the game PLEASE FINISH THE GAME Ur missing out bro If u wanna get into pokemon then u need to actually commit and beat the whole game don’t half ass it fam no offense
ghost/fairy is a stupid good type combo. you're immune to dragon, normal, and fighting types, it's poison and dark weaknesses are upgraded to neutral and it's only weak to ghost and steel moves.
It’s also really good offensively, what are you gonna use, Pyroar? Grafaiai? (I’m specifically talking about pokemon that resist or are immune to both ghost and fairy)
It’s definitely what made Mimikyu so good in Gen 7, in tandem with its Disguise ability. Great offenses, in addition to the stellar resistances, and a free shield to set up with Swords Dance. Flutter Mane’s a love letter to that with its special stats and speed.
Paradox pokemon are ancient of future version of some pokemon that a time machine took from another dimension. The past one are pokemon that dont make sense existing like a brute bonnet having a pokeball shape before pokeball were invented, sandy shock being a magnet in the past and the protho beast existing before ho-oh created them. The future one are ipotetical future, like maybe in the future a mad scientist will create an iron valiant.
only some of the past paradoxes don't make sense. Natural magnets do exist (though not in a horseshoe shape like sandy shocks), and Ho-oh created the 3 beasts from 3 pokemon that died when the tower burned down, so there is some bits of logic. Flutter Mane, Great Tusk, Scream Tail, etc. don't contradict what we're told. Brute bonnet is definitely an odd one though.
@@user-nm1eu1xu1jthey do exist but sandy shock is based on a mordern one in the past and the protho beast dont make sense existing because they are way before the event of the burned tower happened and they would be dead from age by than. Scream tail doesnt really make sense because jigglytuff not only isnt much aggressive but also sing a lot instead of screaming wich would awake things, great tusk doesnt make sense because dhonpan all things is that it rools while great tusk is slow, flutter mane ends up somehow not being just a ghost, slither wings straight up has a body that doesnt work, roaring moon somehow its a mega salamence way before mega arrives and doesnt use a mega stone.
@@alessandroreyes3827 Sandy Shocks and the proto beasts do conflict a bit with history or lore, which is why I listed them separate from the others, but it isn't as blatant as Brute Bonnet's pokeball pattern. The rest of the ones listed aren't that different from regional forms, gigantamaxes, or mega evos. Oh, Roaring Moon looks like an existing mega? So does gmax gengar. Scream tail, Slither Wing, and Great tusk adapted and changed, like how real world evolution works. So Great Tusk might have eventually gained the ability to roll to move easier, and the same could be said for Slither Wing eventually flying. Scream Tail might have changed hunting tactics. Also, how is Flutter Mane not being pure ghost a problem? Hisuian Liligant isn't pure grass like modern Liligant.
@@user-nm1eu1xu1j giga and mega gengar dont look similar, just because they have a big mouth doesnt make them the same. As for slither wing i just remembered that volcarona have an estremelly long lifespan, you find one in unova that lived enough for a civilation to dissapear. Realistically there were some even in a very long past. Like we seen in pokemon thats not how evolution works,at best what you are describing could be a regional change. Pokemon dont changed their evolution based on time but on the environment. The difference in this paradox is that this changes would be to drastic. If we looked at liligant althought it changes she still remain a dancer. Different form are not different from the original. The paradox are so much that they are classified as different pokemon.
The fusion is canon as just a drawing of an imagination. The time machine gets the pokemon from an alternate dimension and got what were the most close to the drawing.
Paradox Pokemon are versions of current Pokemon from the past or future, brought to the present via time machine plot weirdness. The future ones are in violet, the past ones are in scarlet.
Paradox Pokemon: Pokemon that comes from either distant future or the ancient past from a time machine. Also, the Iron Swords don't fuse into that picture shown in the game. They don't have that function at all. Sometime we want that to be true.
@@ItsLilkoreybasically you can catch only the first Pokemon per route/hour and if it dies - it dies. You can't go to the Pokemon center to revive a fainted mon, it's dead and unusable for the rest of the playthrough. Nuzlocke ends when you run out of Pokemon. You also have to name all of them so it would hurt more when they die lol
