@@lisam2312 we struggled with it. We switched to government studies about halfway through the year. For us it was too tedious and focused mostly on dates and timelines. My son found it dry and uninteresting. Unfortunately it wasn't a fit for us but it may be for someone else.
Hey, its Mary Christo. Nice haul. We still don't have the DT plus. I have the plant stand but got it at Five Below. Hope you and the family are doing well.
Hi Mary! I hope you all are doing well! We got a new DT that has the plus section but the store is still a mess. I haven't been to Five Below in a while definitely should go. Have a blessed day! 🩵
Great hauls …. The problem with many of the shoppers is they have no clue on what quality is or a lot of times what is being ordered … it’s sad they do things like spaghetti sauce instead of an onion … geez … and who wants yellow and brown kale …. Hopefully you got it all replaced … have a blessed week
I love popcorn too. I might need some right now actually, lol. I didn't know that half length spaghetti was a thing but I always end up cutting my noodles on the plate because I don't like getting it on my face. 😂 My husband makes fun of me for it.
I love pink lady apples. I'll have to keep an eye out for the compostable sandwich bags, I didn't know Aldi's had those. I actually found some nice lightbulbs at Aldi's of all things, lol. I went back to get more as a backup and they were all out. 😅
I've noticed grocery prices going up again here. We eat such limited stuff that its very noticable to me when our main staples all went up in price just a little bit. I used to get their Moser Roth toffee I think it was? The orange package, it was so good.
I miss shopping at DT. I went last week and my daughter went in for me and got a few things. Due to medical issues, I haven't been able to shop much. -Mary Christo
Aldi's is my favorite store. We shop at Walmart too. We have 2 freezers and we can foods too. Nice we have had a garden the last 8 years. I always kept burritos for my son. Hi Jackson! -Mary Christo.
They typically do but this time I got the notification that they were out of something did I want to replace and before I could even hit Y for yes I got a notification that the person had checked out! 🤷🏻♀️ Crazy.
Nice haul! I need to see what Halloween stuff our dollar store has as well. I struck out at one of our big craft stores, lol. They didn't have a single Halloween item. 😅
You can find some interesting things at Aldi's! We go ever week because they have the best price on kale. I found maple butter at Aldi's yesterday, something that I've never heard of but the only ingredient is pure maple syrup so I was really curious about it, lol.
Maple butter sounds good! I've never heard of it either. What would you use it for? Pancakes? 😂 🤷🏻♀️ I really do like shopping at Aldi. I've found some really cool things there. ❤️
We just had a little Aldi's haul of our own today! You found some nice healthy goodies. Ours was kind of picked over today. That honey baked cauliflower looked interesting! I need to check it out.
It makes me very sad at age 68 to see how very little $ 125. 00 buys nowadays. That used to buy a month worth of groceries and paper products and cleaning products.
Its awful isn't it?! The worst part is this is the cheapest store in my area to shop at. Granted other stores will have "good deals" from time to time, but Aldi has the lowest prices here.
I just found your channel when this video popped into my feed! I'm into grocery haul videos, saving money at the store, and Aldi is my go-to store so had to sub!
Three sisters soup sounds great! You could freeze the green beans if you don’t need them. Black bean sweet potato enchiladas sounds amazing. We’re listening to Children of the Longhouse, I think the 3 sisters soup would be perfect to go along with that! I hope that you’re doing well.
I'd say it's definitely more for some things. However their bakery and produce is top notch so that's why I shop there. I feel like its worth it. However if you are budgeting I would say Walmart has the better prices on most things.
I know what you mean! I've been doing pretty well keeping my grocery trips lower cost but the last two times I went it was waaay more expensive than usual. Like almost double. Nothing I needed was on sale and I didn't have any coupons so that didn't help either. It's tough because it hit at the same time as electric bills that are higher than all the years I've lived here. 🤦♀️
Thank you all for watching! I spent way more than i eanted to on this shopping trip 😮 but thats why you font go to yhe store when youre hungry! 😂 It happens though.
Cute mouse pad, lol. Lots of good stuff for homeschooling! My daughter homeschools now as well, she will be heading to college in another year though! 😱
Blackberry lemonade sounds yummy! It's such a bummer when they deliver damaged stuff. I love the convenience of delivery and pick up services but we end up going in pretty often because we eat so much fresh produce and they're not the best a selecting them here. lol 😅
I know what you mean! Sometimes I luck out and get the one guy who picks out the best produce but unfortunately not every time! 🤣 That lemonade is sooooo good. I need to get more!
No I would say it is more secular. However a few different religions are mentioned but no real detail is given to them. I will say that we did not make it too far with this curriculum. It just didn't work for us. We switched to government studies about halfway through the year (using TGTB). We are still struggling with history. 🤷🏻♀️
