Don't know if I dreamt it, but remember there was a checklist in the game for startup, taxi, take off, cruise and landing. But I just launched the game after 2 years and found only the startup and take-off checklist
You can hover over the top center of the screen to get the menu and select the fuel & payload section (it should look like a weight). Then you can increase the fuel to 100%.
I don't know if you can. It only looks that way in the video because of how I edited it. You could use something like Reflector to stream the iPad to your PC, but you won't be able to interact with it on your PC.
Lol, do you actually fly out of KDWH? I was setting the program up, and didn’t even notice we were at the same departure airport until everything was complete! What a coincidence! 😅 Well, your Flight Events window said KDWH, but you were positioned at KAUS.
Hello. Interesting tutorial but i would like to ask something. My flight instructor told me that Battery Master should be turned on, the engine started and only then should the Alternator be turned on as well. Despite this i see everyone in the tutorials swithching both on at the same time. Why is that?
When I log into the flight line, the aircraft is alrdy started up for me. How do I change the setting to where from the beginning nothing is set up to do exactly what you did? Thank you.
Wouldn’t KAUS have wanted you to get clearance delivery prior to contacting ground? Asking bc I’m trying to use msfs to practice radio in my local area (KAUS, KGTU, KEDC, etc) and I’m not sure how or if possible to request VFR to practice “CRAFT”. When I do it IFR it tells me something ridiculous like expect 12000 going to Exec in a C152
Yes, IRL you would call clearance first. In MSFS, I don't believe it works well to call clearance if you're just flying VFR, so I go straight for Ground.
I haven’t had any success with this. When ever I try to fly, whether it’s a lesson or free fly, my rudder seems to be stuck 22 degrees to the left. It did that to me when I first downloaded and installed it.
Thanks for all the great videos! I am still having difficulty with the X & Y axis’ on MSFS. I have a Logitech yoke and flying the plane (SF50) is easy, yet changing the ALT(s) etc are nearly impossible. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Great job Turbochuck! Liked and subscribed. Oh, maybe things have changed since you made this tutorial. I used a "Start Scanning" function for each assignment, it allowed me to just press the button/control that i wanted for each function. Great since I didn't know the button numbers.
10-12 mn max to pre check and take off, very good job on explaining everything properly. Real instructors they take between 20-25 to pre check and take off 😢
Can you suggest a better config for my pxn 2119 pro flight stick controller for cesna? I tried adjusting the sensitivity for the rudder I can't seem to get it right, it is too sensitive, same with the pull. When I take off I need to pull it all the way back but its too much for the plane, I appreciate your help
If you hover the cursor over the top of the screen, you should see a weight icon (second from the right). Click that to open the Weight and Balance screen and drag the fuel slider to 100%.
I have another EFB (Avare) that I use. I tried using Flight Events with Avare in the new MSFS but I cannot get it to work. I tried everything that was suggested for using Foreflight but still not working. Any suggestions? I have used the Avare EFB in X-Plane with no issues.
If you're coming to the comments because its not working for you... follow all steps as described in the video. In addition, make sure your IP address isn't hidden with a unique address. Go to wifi and select your wifi connection and tap on it. Scroll down and toggle off private wifi address. Go back to Foreflight and get your new IP Address and plug it into the Flight Events app. You should be good to go. Great video either way.
