This video shows a complete lack of knowledge of the great places of Alberta. I am in BC and I go to Alberta 3 -4 times a year, great place every where.
There is no cheap places to live in Nova Scotia. I own my own home and I still can't afford to live here. I'm over 60 years old and I will never be able to retire because even though I have no rent or mortgage I can't survive on what they call a pension here. Even that is taxed to death. I will need to work until I die !!!
All of the affordable apartments in Sudbury are basement apartments lol. Actual apartments are like $1700 and up. I do not suggest moving here as the culture is a toilet and it's so french
AI generated robo-voiced crap. I left Prince George long ago, and In 2024, it is not exactly 'cheap' to live there. Cheaper than Hindcouver or Victoria? Sure, but not as much as you might think. Lots of crime, poor services, outdated infrastructure, not much of an economy. If want to live in a dated, and rundown townhouse in a garbage area, yea, it might be 'cheap' just make sure you dont have any valuables, or valuable......looking on display. If you do, the locals will fix that problem for you fast. If you want to live in the 'nice' areas of PG, be prepared to pay a shockingly high amount for a passable home. There are few reasons to live in PG, its cold, stinks, and a lot of the buildings and town layout is soooo dated and poorly maintained. And the whole 'yea, but P|G gots NATURE going for it, is severely oversold. If you want to live like an outdoorsman, I dont know, move to Yukon and do it for real.
prince George.. one of the highest crime rates in Canada. Dawson Creek. pretty town, maybe 12,000 people. is there even a rec center there? Indoor pool? Weight room?? Cold er than ice in january, but lots of sunshine
Not Prince George, not Dawson Creek, not Vernon.Cranbrook would be good. The crime rate in Prince George is very high, too many needle pushers in Vernon, too many people going missing in Dawson Creek.I live there and in Vernon. You get taxed too high in British Columbia. If you move here move to the Kootenays or the out of the way places in the Okanagan

Housing is now unaffordable for the majority of people in Nova Scotia. Jobs are a rarity unless you know someone here who can ask another about possible job but he has to hire a family member. The Government ignores most of the province with the exception of the big city of Halifax and the rest get bread crumbs. I have had to live in apartments 80% of my life and i detest them. No chance of getting home now. Trenton sounds like a semi reasonable cost of living but still would be living in a reasonably priced apartment.
Yeah.....let's stop adding Malaysia to these kinda vids now yeah......too much tourists already.....and honestly after what you westerners have done in uour own countries and allowed to happen......not really keen to accept u here so that you can ruin our peace and serenity.
Costa Rica is 45% more expensive than Mexico and it is the second most expensive country in Latin America; Uruguay is the most expensive. I live in San Jose CR (5years retired), on $5,000 per mo almost paycheck to paycheck for a family of four. It’s as expensive as many parts in the States.
Been to sixty nine countries and I am in Costa Rica right now for the fourth time. It will be the last time! It has always been an expensive country for Latin America, but it has prices now that surpass many developed countries. It is not a developed country, but rather a developing country that excels in some aspects.
Nowhere is cheap in Ontario. I checked out a home in St. Mary's and it was $648,000! Small town, small home. Ridiculous! Living in Canada has become a luxury.
I've been living in Colombia for over 17 years and I can say it is a great place to live, so long as you don't live in the big cities. Medellin, Bogota, Cartagena are wall to wall people and a lot more expensive than living in one of the smaller towns not far away, like the San Nicolas Valley, where the Medellin International Airport is located. One caveat is that being able to speak Spanish is almost a necessity even in one of the large cities.
right sub 500 is "cheap" . They are talking apartments for 1,000 my house payment on a 3/2 is that in north central florida, everyone speaks english takes the dollar and you are within an hour drive from the beach lakes natural springs and towns with expert medical care.
As a native Nova Scotian, please stop with this. We already have some of the lowest salaries in Canada, we now have to deal with skyrocketing home prices because with so many people moving here, realtors are charging way over reasonable asking prices because they know they can.
Good morning Thank you so much for this video is really informative keep up the good work. Please can I move to Trenton Nova Scotia with my family and my small frozen food business, and do l go about it please help. Thanks
I live in Medellin, Colombia, and it's great. It's a first-world city that is more modern and eco than most US cities. the people are great, Food, Nightlife, Shopping. they have better malls in Medellin than in Los Angeles or Miami. The one across from my apartment is 5 floors with a Movie theater, Amusement park, Soccer, and volley ball on the roof, Gym, Shopping, Banks, a Grocery store, and Restaurants they even have car dealerships.
You mentioned basically every capital city in Canada. Sorry but you missed Kelowna BC & Collingwood/Blue Mountains Ontario. Also Guelph or Barrie are much nicer than Toronto. Winnipeg is not a nice place and shouldn't be on the list.
I don’t know if I believe any of these cities because I live in Prince Rupert and $340,000 gets you a “ fixer upper “ while1 bedroom apartments run several hundred dollars more than you suggest. Of all of these cities I think Vernon would be my choice but not if the true numbers are as out of touch as the Prince Rupert and Prince George numbers.
Under the federal liberals and the communist ndp in bc there are no cheap places to live out there. Thanks to their legalizing the drugs lotsa places are not safe. We sold and dont really want any part of living in bc which stands for bring cash and lots of it
Real estate in Canada varies by region. However, following today's Bank of Canada rate cut to 4.5%, keep an eye on the market. With speculation about further reductions to 4% this year and 3% next year, will buyers continue to wait? As the market shifts, sellers may become more flexible on prices. For buyers, this is an opportunity to prioritize the most important factor in real estate: location. Remember the mantra: Location, Location, Location. In today's market, buyers can secure prime locations. If prices rise again next year and affordability becomes an issue, you'll wonder why you didn't act in 2024. While no one can predict the future, we can make informed decisions now. Always do what's best for you, but stay well-informed. #CristianEnache #Realtor #RealEstate #GTAOntario #Money
