That must be some type of munchausen by proxy situation, or maybe she's a weird type of feeder. She's constantly stuffing food in his face, not all of it is unhealthy, the amount of food is more of the problem. My son ate 5 to 6 meals when he was 5 but there were small portions, more snack portion size not full meals. He couldn't have even eaten one single portion of what Leon eats. It's just completely insane.

She is in denial. I hope someone will get through to her before it's too late. Teach her about calories. That child almost ate more in 2 hours than I eat in a full day.
She is definitely feeding him too much and I bet it’s not always that healthy …. By the way, children needs carbs to grow, but if my child is already way bigger than the average and so extreme obese, you also should reduce the carbs, it was way too much smashed potatoes. Also he is sitting all day on the couch … which I can understand, cause who wants to move with so much weight, but that’s the problem, my children are all the time in motion. My son is also 5 years old and weight 20kg with 117cm, Leon weight three times as much … 😮
My brother is diagnosed with Willie's and its all to do with brain etc ! This woman is deluded if she thinks she isn't enablilling this child! Why couldn't the bowl of fruit or just the 2 slices of chcolate cake be enough until tea time or dinner? Why did she need to gibe the extra bowl of fruit and then another bowl of fruit with weetabix and then the huge plate with mash potato and mushy peas etc ?? That's enablling I didnt hear him once ask for the extras he only asked for his cake! Im usually first to stick up for people I beleive have a genuine weight problem but this child is just being enabled by his parents ! Discusting and makes me angry when my brother suffers extremely worse then this and life for my mum is hell day in day out !
She’s in denial to the point of being ridiculous. If she’d stop arguing and listen she’d know quickly that all calories add up, healthy or otherwise. Yes the food was healthy but that was an adults day of food in 2 hours. The wheelchair is ridiculous. He’s 5, let him walk until you feed him to the point that he can’t. Maybe if he didn’t have the wheelchair and you listened to his drs he wouldn’t weigh 10 stone. This is where you send kid to 30 days of summer camp for weight problems and see how much he loses when mom isn’t loving him with food. Love him with exercise!
hmmm! All sounds a bit too good to be true to me. Maybe all too much like rich parents paying good money in an attempt to launch her into a celebrity career, which failed.
Sorry but the woman is deluded, Chocolate Cake and Strawberries, Cereal and Banana's and a Big Meal all in one go is not a healthy diet. Although she is feeding Leon a lot of healthy food, a snack, then what would be breakfast and then dinner is too much. That woman needs to grow up and stop being so stuck in her ways, if she continues binge feeding her son, his weight will spiral out of control. People should be eating 3 times a day as like Breakfast then Lunch then Dinner, with like 2 snacks in between. Or smaller meals but more often, she needs Gordon Ramsey to talk to her or Dr Now or Supernanny. I'm not trying to be nasty but she should not be so in denial. I accept people for who they are but I don't know why the woman is so Inflexible
A rabbit gets fat on lettuce after eating and eating and eating!!! Plus his mother is in denial and doesn't think she's doing anything wrong. I'd like to see how this kid is doing now
It's precisely this type of parents who drove me to leave teaching. The ones who refuse to listen, engage in any meaningful discussion and have a vile, combative attitude. Shame their children are similarly reviled and - as this one even points out clueless - isolated.
