Hi Im Chelsea! My passion is to help people struggling with skin conditions, like acne scars, acne, or extremely textured skin, overcome challenges that arise when applying makeup by teaching you the techniques that work, and present REAL expectations that debunks social media. I will show you what skin really looks like without beauty filters and harsh lighting. I have been struggling with self image for many years do to my pitted acne scars. Because of these false expectations that makeup companies and beauty influencers have bombarded us with, made it really difficult as a Makeup Artist because clients started to believe that makeup can hide texture. I am determined to find solutions for us! whether that it's permanent or temporary. More skincare and makeup brands need to do better for us especially for pitted acne scars . I hope I can help you in anyway I can, whether it's a makeup tip or just reminding you that you are not alone.
You had a bare face in yhe beginning? Hun ,Your not scarred that badly you have beautiful skin without all the Cover-up . Some Cover up will break some ppl out or go into tge open pores &/Scars Only wish you would of showed product's.
hmmmmnn as far as i know from other MUA shimmers make things embossed w/c is needed to make scars look even so as dewy make ups but from what u said its the opposite… im confused…
I LOVE this product. Universal shade is best in my opinion because it’s most versatile . . I use it in the following ways: 1) mixed with my favorite primer 2) mixed with my favorite foundation 3) mixed with blush or bronzer and 4) tapped on top of my makeup if needed late in the afternoon as a touch up.
Hey I have a question for you if you can help me and advise please.. I have similar kind skin as you.. I have got acne pitted scars and I actually got makeup forever hydra glow foundation but I wanted to ask do you recommend this makeup forever hd skin foundation or hydra glow version for my skin ?
Just got this as well as the Yummy Skin Blurring Balm (heaven!). Great ideas you put forth. I'm 58 years old, and I don't have shine issue but do have texture issues, and boy does this stuff blur all those little things that go wrong when you get older. Thanks for the tips!
Hello, I just bought the universal balm with the tinted moisturizer. I’m an oily girl and hope that the balm will pair well with the skin tint. Your video was informative. Thanks.
@@PinCushionQueen i don't see how this looks good on anyone except people that have perfect skin. This amplified every little imperfection on my face. And I used it every way that was suggested. I am also a light medium skintone. I got the number 3.5 and it looked like Halloween makeup from walmart
@@lanaaustin132the formula may not be the best for you, but I am black and my shade is 4, so I think you may also have not got the best match, or maybe there isn't a good match for your skin color. I 100% believe it looked orange.
Just bought a few of her skin blurring products and your video was really helpful on showing the multiple ways to use her products! Super excited to play in my makeup now!!!
I have translucent and a tinted one but don’t use either very often as I’m still navigating how to use them. Your video has been helpful, thanks! Can you use it to set your makeup? If so, how is it done? Thank you
The reason that "skin blurring" primers don't work for very textured or pitted skin is bcuz it doesn't just nestle into the little valleys. It also coats the raised bumps and makes a layer over them, enhancing them. As a makeup artist, i think this makeup technique she's teaching is great!
thank you for this! my hooded eyes have become more deep set with age, so eye makeup has become more difficult, so these tips help so much! can't wait to try. which brand of the eyeliner pencil do you use? it looks like it blends so easily
So helpful!!! Sorry to see you aren't posting anymore, but thank you for this! PS i see you are still a pretty new mom, mine didnt sleep thru the night til 18 months. Take all the time you need, i sub'd in case it works out for you to come back :)
How I wish I can afford to buy this product. To at least somehow hide this scars.Being a mom, buying make up is the last thing on the list and before I get on that last part of the list, I have no money to spend already.Sad but true!😢
Great tutorial. Have you looked into TCA cross and co2 laser for removing/considerably diminishing the scars? There is help available now through board certified dermatologists, lasers have really advanced in the last 5 years.
Thank you Chelsea for this tutorial. I have pitted scars from Rosacea on my cheeks. I also have a deep scar on my nose, from skin cancer. Could you advise on what products would help to minimize the scar. It's located on the side of my nose. It has been hard for me to find makeup or concealers that work. 🙏🏻😕 Thank you on advance
Acne scar queen here. My go to is Coty Airspun Powder. It’s a powder from the 1920s that smells like little old lady perfume, but works great on my acne scars and feels light. I also recommend The Crème Shop blush. Seems to sit on top of my scars!
