I still don't know why he won't play the great guitar instrumental section thus song had when he first released it , it really completes the song. Pls rethink that Andrew.
You are over complicated your own song. This so is the definition of simplicity is genius. Tune down the drum volume and let your guitar ring out, it sounds extremely good.
I love this sign. I grew up in a colder climate area, and it puts to words so well the feelings of being in months and months of cold and grey. Cold, often depressing and lonely, but still beautiful. And I can’t imagine leaving.
i discovered hozier at such a difficult time in my life. he just reminds me so regularly of these small things in life that can be felt so deeply, in a way that keeps me alive and going and fighting.
I worship Him for 3 hours each day, like clockwork 1pm till 3, just enough time for all 3 albums. I do hope there are more on the way, post covid, I knew that was an issue with it takng so long to drop,
If I don’t go to his concert in May I’ll jump off a bridge I’ve yet to see him live . Buying two tickets. Have 5 months to find a girl to take that likes Hozier. Shouldn’t be too hard I think there’s a lot less male fans than the female fans when it comes to Hozier.
I love the little things in this video, his little nod to the sound technician to turn the volume up, him taking his ring off and putting it on the mic pedestal, him removing the earpiece at the end...
Dam.. his talent is among the best singer songwriters out there. His lyrics arent played out and unoriginal and his guitar playing is just insane for a picker. Hes so fckin good.
Verse 1] A joy hard learned in winter was the warming of the bed You'd shake for minutes there and move your legs Wrap the blanket over you and keep your head within Let your breath heat the air until you’d feel it getting thin [Chorus] Uiscefhuaraithe The feel of coldness only water brings There are some things that no one teaches you, love That come natural as a dream you didn't know that you were in [Post-Chorus] And darlin', all my dreamin’ is only put to shame And darlin', all my dreamin' has only been given a name But it came easy, darlin' As natural as another leg around you in the bed frame [Verse 2] In summer's heat, I learned to dread the comin' of the night The awful things we do to make the head go quiet You'd press your body to the concrete when you were small The rains of winter seemed to never leave the walls [Chorus] Uiscefhuaraithe The feel of coolness only water brings There are some things that no-one teaches you, love That God in his awful wisdom first programs in [Post-Chorus] But darlin', all my dreamin’ is only been put to shame And darlin’, all my dreamin' has only been given a name But it happened easy, darlin’ As natural as another leg around you in the bed [Bridge] And I wish I could say That the river of my arms have found the ocean I wish I could say the cold lake water of my heart Christ, it's boilin' over [Outro] But it happened easy, darlin' Natural as another leg around you in the bed frame
Loved this when i saw him live in chicago about a week or 2 before....absolutely tickles me he still doesnt know what to do with his hands when hes not holding a guitar 😂😂
why is your sound so clear!!! Can I ask what did you use to record it? I went to his concert as well but the video I recorded is very blurry and cant hear clear sound!
@@AmberDoggy0121 I almost always have good luck with audio at Hozier shows (I credit his sound engineer). Other shows, not so much if it’s loud and crunchy.
