The Internet Revolution happened while I was busy changing diapers, carpooling, and getting my computer-savvy little geeklings ready for college. Now I'm busy trying to catch up. It's been....interesting.
I was the only ra ever track flagman in the 3 state area that had a theme song and this was it. Track gave us awesome track shirts so I added nice looking blue jeans and cowboy boots. Drivers meeting came to an end I start to walk down the front stretch announcer started this song. Said Miss Brenda the scorer said I was the best looking and best flagman in the southeast. Had a lot of fun working different tracks and working the big money shows
Who's running Staples's advertising division? This commercial should be aired each and every year. HUGE mistake in shelving this ad, among the best of all time. Shameful. :)
This is one of the first commercials I saw after coming back from Europe. AFN doesn't carry commercials. My husband and I laughed for a good two minutes. Kudos to whoever came up with this commercial. Almost 30 years later it's still one of my favorites.
Bro I'm in school and the fact the dad did this and like the director was like: *"Ok, we want you to just play with the Post-It's and like get the Staplers and run to the checkout very happy."*
We need it. The kids get bored after a few weeks, and where I lived, that's when break-ins, vandalism, and midnight street racing went through the roof.
imagine child marceline and simon trying to celebrate christmas in the middle of the apocalypse and they’re singing christmas songs/carols together and that’s the foundation for their little jam sessions in the future
This brings back some fond childhood memories for me. Specifically of driving through the snow on that windy mountain road in Yosemite from the Wawona entrance to Yosemite Valley with my parents and my sister in December, 1994. My Dad played this on our car stereo while my sister and I were in the back fighting off motion sickness after eating Doritos in the car. 😆😆😆. Rest In Peace, Robin Williams. I’ll never forget all the laughs and tears we shared with you.
I used to hate this ad so much when I was a kid. Every time around toward the end of summer when this would play I’d get so mad knowing this marked basically the end of summer and the beginning of having to go back to school again 😂
I'm the only one who thinks it is horrible people get excited about not spending time with their kids. We loved summers together. The kids didn't want to go back and we didn't want them to go back either.
