Great edit and song choice! I've been rewatching Coliver clips and I'm more warmed to the couple in S3. I can see now where the writers intentions were, but still their break-up seems little wild and them getting back together, could have been executed better. But no big deal and the finale broke my heart, and i was ready to riot if they both didn't end up together.
Everything about them was passionate, all or nothing from the moment they met,it was electric between them and their chemistry was just undeniable but the writers decided to ruin them for a lovestory of 5 minutes with Wes which ended up by ruining Laurel's character,not to mention that she cheated on Wes the first second when she saw Frank come back in her life but they preferred to make Laurel acting like this awkward and ridiculous widow
Love your video but to be honest I just hated the couple of Laurel and Wes, I think it was probably the thing that pissed me the most in this show,hated how they forced and exaggerated it after his death while she cheated on him and was just desperate to find Frank,I think it was clearly one of the things that I disliked the most in the show,it wasn't believable at all and it ended up by destroying Laurel's character in my opinion even if Karla was great as actress and tried her best
Even though Laurel loved Wes and Frank loved Bonnie, Frank is always going to be in love with Laurel and Laurel is always going to be in love with Frank. I feel that Frank's love for Bonnie was just to not think about Laurel, they should never have been a couple, they love each other as friends. And I think Wes and Laurel's relationship was very strained, there was no chemistry, and she loved Wes to try to get over Frank.
Couldn’t agree more,there is a difference between loving someone and being in love,to me all Laurel’s actions showed that she was more in love with Frank,I mean if you are really in love with someone you don’t cheat on him the first minute when you saw your ex,this ex you were obsessed with 2 days before and you still claimed to love him just before dating an other guy, they just exaggerated their story because he died and she got pregnant i always felt it was more of her guilt for cheating on him before he died and the fact that she had her baby but pretending it was the love of her life when she dated him for 2 weeks and cheated on him with her ex is just ridiculous and not believable to me, For Bonnie in my opinion they were clearly better as friends even though I’m just absolutely loved Bonnie’s character , it wasn’t necessary to put them together at the last moment, their friendship was superior, putting two broken people together never ends in good way, and who said that a strong friendship is inferior to a romantic relationship
Every one of them…EVERY one of them have been through hell. They all deserved better. 💔 This is truly one of the greatest television series of all time. The story, concept, acting, soundtrack…it all fits perfectly. ❤️

These two deserved so much better than this inconsistent writing, how the writers could ruin this kind of ships when their chemistry and connection were just undeniable,tbh this passion,intense and dark connection between them that made me loving them together, I know that it was really complicated but i think we deserved a better writing for them, I didn’t expect a happy ending for them but just more coherence and logic. I hate how the writers just baited us all the show and made so much forth and back with their relationship to suddenly ruin them, and come on Laurel cheated on all her boyfriends with Frank that says a lot and literally « sold her soul » to her father just to find Frank and was so obsessed to find him,claimed still loving him despite what he did, lied to everyone about the fact that she still worried about him all these months, cheated on Wes immediately after seeing Frank come back just to suddenly make almost all her existence about her lovestory of 5 minutes with Wes which just ruined her character and make a lot of people hating her let’s be honest, I would’ve liked a real closure when Frank if it was the plan of the writers since the start to ruin them with this lazy writing especially with Laurel’s character,they changed character’s feelings like teenagers,sometimes it was just ridiculous, they could just left too people alone,it’s not necessary to force every character in other relationship and exaggerate some relationships of a few days like a tv teen show... I know I’m still bitter but even if I really loved this show for the plots and twist,and I know that it wasn’t based on lovestories I just think that the writing for some storylines was very lazy and sometimes just illogical,it was like sometimes they just wanna create some drama so they just put two persons together for 2 or 3 episodes and after pretend like it was a big deal when it was absolutely not that,I’m glad that Coliver had a good writing and a clear build up
Sometimes I think Laurel and Wes ended up together just so that the writers can work around Karla Souza's pregnancy. Never made much sense as a couple.
@@Yanaballerina Probably and I think they made them together just before his death in purpose to create a drama around his death with Laurel’s family but clearly we didn’t buy this thing it’s just too forced,her and Wes were like together for 2 or 3 episodes,she cheated on him as soon she saw Frank,it was clearly unrealistic to buy this like a big love story just because he died it was clearly ridiculous,and it’s not because he was the father of his child that they have to buy this thing as big lovestory especially she didn’t even know who was the father of her baby, this is how we call a bad writing that wasn’t coherent and logical
@@hannacal8347 Totally! They had this great chemistry between Laurel and Frank and they ruined it with illogical story telling. I am sure there were other ways to include the pregnancy, but no, hey let's force 2 of the characters, that never laid eyes on each other till now, together...
@@Yanaballerina And even if they made them together and she got pregnant that wouldn't bother me, but it's exaggerating the story after Wes died like Laurel had been with Wes since start and Frank was the second choice while from the start it's still Frank and Laurel, I liked the idea that Frank raises and loves a child who is not his I would have liked that they show that it was possible to have such a relationship but instead they changed Laurel's character, made her just selfish and only self-centered, if that was the plan from the start they should have stopping the Frank and Laurel story when Frank was gone in season 3
@@hannacal8347 I guess the idea behind Laurel's change of character was to show that Wes's death was the straw that finally broke the camel's back, but again was executed in such an illogical way... I love your idea about Frank and the baby, would have made quite a difference for him and his redemption! Too bed the writers weren't that clever.
