For any other confused newbies like me, to find the Store config, start at the /config URL for your site, where you can see "Setup Guide", "Website", "Products & Services" etc in the left hand navigation menu, then under "Website" click "Pages", and in the list on the left you should then see "Store" with a little shopping cart icon. When I hover my mouse over the "Store" item, a settings cog icon appears next to it. Click the cog to open a popup "Store Settings" dialog, and in the General tab you should see the "URL SLUG" field, which for me defaulted to "/store-1". For some reason I had two "Store" items in my navigation, one that I'd created some products in with a slug of '/store-1', and a demo Store page that I think came with the template I selected that had a slug of "/store" and different products in that were example gift cards, again demo data. I could not change my Store page's slug to "/store" because that URL was already in use by the demo Store page. I deleted the default Store page (with the Bin icon next to it), then I could change the slug of my Store page to "/store".

Hi, Question… is there a way to write or more colors available on products listed on the product page? Also, is there a way to change the thumbnail from just the two display pics to show all the colors?
Yes, you have have more than just colors as a variant (is this what you're asking) and you can upload an image for each separate variant as well. When you're in the edit mode where you see all details for all variants, there's a tiny spot to add an individual image for each.
I'm releasing a new Squarespace Payments video this week (applicable for US, UK, and Canada), so stay tuned for that if you're in any of these areas! If you're not, then Stripe and PayPal will continue to be your options for the time being.
how do you customize the emails that go out notifying the site owner that a donation occurred. I don't see anywhere on squarespace how to change that email or add a project manager to that email so a project manager gets the donation notice.
Hey @EricBeser, try Selling > Selling Tools > Customer Notifications > Donations. And anyone who is an admin should receive a donation email notification unless you have your main account notifications turned off. Those can be found at account.squarespace.com > click your profile photo in top right > Notifications.
You can find the code mentioned in the video here to copy and paste into your own website: www.designingtherow.com/blog/squarespace-store-customization
This isn't a fair comparison because you are comparing the free version (which has obviously limited options) instead of the paid versions which gives you have access to everything. So you get a thumbs down 👎 from me
If you create a caption file from your transcripts like an SRT or Webvtt file, your transcript will be indexed by Google. Of course there are benefits to adding the transcript text to your page/below the video as well. Note that autogenerated captions are not indexed by Google
Squarespace email is the worst. Its SUPER HARD to make lists. The cvs downloads do not link up with importing a list. Who wants ro reformat everything thing!? I'd love to be able to collect email sefments easily, or select people who purchased a product and send them an email. I want to ve abke to ckean up my mails as well. I could go on and on and on! TERRIBLE
Dear I watched all your videos and it was very good but due to some problem your video views and channel subscribers are not increasing your channel is very less subscribers do you want to increase your channel?
Directly, not that I'm aware of. But you should be able to connect any bank account to Stripe. From there you can automate payouts to send directly to your account every couple days.
Is it possible to “schedule all” if I have many items hidden now that I want all published at the same time? Or do I have to go though each item individually and schedule the date and time one by one. Thanks!
you can actually set a price peer product by using variants - I use variants as a way of choosing things like color/size/shipping - it works really well
I would like to add Zelle as a form of payment to my Squarespace website, but read that Squarespace doesn't accept Zelle. Is there anyway to add MacroPay as an integrating platform for Zelle payments, and if I chose to PayPal Business as a form of payment, can I chose only Venmo?
Hello I watched your whole video, but my website put all the printify items in one big list rather than categorizing into different types (mugs, t shirts, etc) how can I categorize the items?
How do you factor in shipping? Do I add that to the total price and display it on the product page in Squarespace? Or can I add the shipping with Square space? I am so confused no one talks about shipping. I have watched many videos about Printful, and people skip that step.
I have 3 different videos of shipping tutorials here on my channel. Shipping preferences look different for everyone - so see if any of these solutions sound like what you're looking for? Here's my Squarespace Store video playlist: ru-vid.com/group/PLP-JVs7tuXa7_Lh8QV4N8s-hprUKV8isQ
Hi, could you do a video addressing if a customer has two separate products in the basket? It shows them the options for all products, meaning they can select the cheaper option for say the smaller product.
Thanks for the video and info. Been using SS for 2 yrs now but our store has been digital DLs for resources and same as a workaround for online courses. Doing our 1st physical product and I am fast learning that that SS is barely suitable for anything apart from Info only media as it fails in so many areas.
