I can't seem to find this song anywhere in Bobby Bare's discography. I assume it's called Turning the Power On. Anyone know where I can find the unedited version of this song? TIA
@bigyodatheman Thank you very much. I remember it on my old VHS tape called Turning the Power On from TNT. Always loved it and wanted the whole version but could never find it. I love your longer rendition on your video. Thanks again.
We love you Tom!!!! Thank you for all the memories from my childhood and so many others going into our adulthood! I f'kin' love you brother! THANK YOU! 🖤🧡
Thank you for everything you’ve done to make Monster Jam what it is today. Thank you for thrilling fans all over the world with your inspiring racing, skills, and freestyle performances. It’s a real shame your driving career ended the way it did, but it’s been a pleasure watching you perform at every event for over 30 years. 14 Monster Jam world championships and over 20 years of Maximum Destruction! Thank you Tom Meents and enjoy your retirement!
Amazing tribute to the greatest to ever step into a monster truck. I hope Tom has a happy and healthy retirement. He'll be sorely missed on the track, but his impact on the sport will be felt for as long as Monster Jam exists.
Watching this man win 9/14 titles was the greatest thing I’ve seen. Pure dominance and owning his competition for 21 years in Mj with Maxd. His longevity in the sport won’t ever be topped. Enjoy retirement Tom!
Tom, thank you very much for your contributions to this great sport! My twins are true fans and have watched Max-D at countless shows and videos and met you at many pit parties. They're so passionate about Monster Jam and Max-D, and I know your passion for the spot has definitely made an impact to our family.
Tom Meents proved himself that everyone can become an unstoppable driver, especially in the early days of Monster Jam. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to see him 3 years in a row. I saw old videos of Tom’s runs in the early 2000s and he proved the world that it’s not impossible to drive a monster truck to its maximum, and cause destruction to the fans. We all will miss you Tom and thanks for 21 years of Maximum Destruction when he drove Maxd!
Tom Meents showed the world what he was capable of doing things that were deemed impossible but proven not. Tom is a symbol of Monster Jam and the motorsport community. He and Dennis are the main reasons why I want to be a real Monster Jam driver someday. Let us all embrace his legacy and beyond the new generation of drivers who look up to him. Tom Meents, a legend. ❤
