But I would love to get more into how I transitioned from the rat race to freelance photographer to back to the rat race (haha jk) when I was recruited to work for a major media company capturing architecture, lifestyle and events. Capturing both video and photos from camera and drone.
California native, Photographer and Father.
I am a part 107 licensed and insured drone enthusiast with hundreds of hours of safe operational experience. In 2021 I ranked in the top 99.3% and in 2022 top 99.1% of all DJI Drone Pilots in the World. I primarily use the DJI Mavic 3 Cine and DJI Mavic 2 Professional but do also have the Phantom 3 Professional.
I shoot with Nikon Z8, D780, D7500, Mavic 3 Cine, Mavic 2 Pro, and S23 Ultra.
You literally saved my computer's life. I almost stomped it to death after hours, or removing what I figured had to be corrupted footage, then corrupted sound track, , nothing worked, watched several video, nada, then your video popped up and all is right in the world. Muchas Gracias amigo!!
Sorry it's not working for your, it sounds like the footage you are using may not have enough frames to do what you want? I'd look into that specifically. This is more of a solution to skipping caused by different media conflicting. Like a DJI codec and Nikon Codec in the same sequence. ME tends to smooth some of that out. I hope you find a solution.
YOU... SIR... are THE FUCKING GOAT. Ive been going crazy for 14 hours since this morning checking EVERYTHING: cache, sequence settings, CPU and GPU, remade the project, seen almost 20 other videos... and finally... YOU... SIR... came with an answer. As ive seen through the comments section, this seems to be a pretty common problem with drone footage and should be advertised by Adobe. New suscriber, and if by the way you ever come by to south spain youve got "at least" a free beer round.
South Spain would be epic. Spain is at the top of my photography bucket list. The country, history, and culture appears top notch and I've heard some of the best people in the World can be found in Spain.
HOLY SHIT! You're a real magician! I was struggling with this issue for soooo long and never found out what I did wrong. I almost cancelled my Adobe subscription for it... Thank you so much for sorting this out and giving us the simple but awesome solution!
I mean with frame rate and shutter speed ratios, nailing exposure, nailing white balance, and then getting it all in focus we deserve a simple solution at least every once in a while. Thank you
What's killing me is I can't edit my Nikon Raw footage in Premiere Pro, yet the free version of DaVinci can handle it no problem.... But yeah with all of the different codecs and camera companies working magic to improve dynamic range and color, I find that some of these codecs work well with some sequence settings while on the other hand, other footage can really look bad and choppy. ME will probably be a solution for years to come, unfortunately but glad there is a solution.
@@JustinBradleyPhotographer I am disapointed in Adobe, they are forcing people to use the subscription model and pay much more money than necessary while not fixing these kinds of issues. Though this might be a specifically Windows issue, I do not think I have experienced this on an M1 Macbook. It is just crazy that something like this tutorial has to exist in the first place. Besides that i frequently experienced error 205 and had to relog in which makes me want to try some other software, but yet I am so used to Adobe that I cant really go back.
I have some jittery footage especially from my DJI Air 3 as well in a scene that I panned and pushed into the talent. Can't find an answer. Tried Optical Flow, frame blending and still can't get it to render smoothly.
Something to consider is sometimes footage is smooth but overloading the device you are watching it on. Some of my footage is buttery smooth on the 4k monitor but then I send it over to my 4k Samsung TV, purchased from Costco during black friday, and it starts to skip. Something to consider if your frame rate to shutter speed ratio is correct and you are not slowing it down slower than the available frames or if you are slowing it down at a rate that creates unbalanced ratios. Even with Adobe's best solutions it will still be detectable no matter what you do.
Thank you so much! I've been trying to figure this issue out two whole days. I too was trying to edit some drone footage like the comments lol. Thanks again!
Isn't it nuts, they raise rates as we conserve because they need more money, keep the restrictions and keep the rates. Someone is getting rich and it aint me.... Notice how the news is absolutely silent about the end of the drought? How people continue to trust MSM is beside me.
I literally live a few miles from here and perhaps you have mistaken this for something else? They are in chronilogical order. I created the video and can tell you this without a shadow of a doubt. Thanks for the comment.
@@MabzProductionz The first shot was during the drought in 2011, the second one was after 25 atmospheric rivers and shot in 2023. It's looking to be another record year. The last time I heard about the drought was two years ago. I've lived in California my entire life, I promise the drought came first. This is a Before and After video of the drought. If you take all titles this literally, you are going to waste your life picking them apart. Time is too precious to waste time on this kind of nonsense and if you don't get that, I am sorry, I cannot help you.
I've been going through this issue for months without finding an answer... I do export using Media Encoder often but for some reason with this project, I didn't try. It's a 40-minute video documentary and it's been killing me trying to export the thing as a whole. I will try it tomorrow and come back with the results... This is my last try.
My sentiments exactly, I have a feeling it has something to do with using multiple codecs but either way, so glad it worked. So dumb, it should just do this on export. Perhaps a trick for ME to get more use? Either way, I was you and that's why I made this video.
If that were the case it wouldn't be called a drought it would be called normal. The title matches exactly what you see.. I'm 40 and this drought is the only one I've experienced in my life and I have lived in SoCal my entire life. After 10 years of drought, I'm stoked its over for now. The first clip was prior to the atmospheric rivers last year, the second one is after. Last year was the first time we had rain every single month from Jan - Aug, plus a freaking tropical storm! I can't remember the last time that happened... Tell me how is this clickbait?
Wrong reservoir. This was being drained while I was filming it and the months after, yet it remained at capacity because there was so much water feeding it. It was like this 3, 6, and 9 months later. It hit capacity again this year... The point is they drain it every year but it's been like 30 - 40 years since it reached this capacity. I was going here in the 90's and offroading in the sand that in this video is at least 10 feet under water. It is so rare to see it like this. Well it was until this year and last.
I don’t ever leave comments on random videos I find when I need something fixed, but this time… it’s different. And yeah this video is 2 years old but this needs to be said. I’ve stayed up till 3am the last 2 night just trying to fix this problem. I’m exhausted and have never been so infuriated with exporting video. I googled and RU-vidd for HOURS. Nothing. Until finally your video shined a ray of love and hope. I found your video and prayed to every god and religion that this would work. And it did. It FINALLY worked!!! I havent felt this much joy in so long, I knew this deserved a comment. So thank you!!! Thank you so much!!!! Im so tired, Im going to bed. I can now sleep peacefully😌
