Welcome to the Wicked paint art channel where I will share everything I have learnt over my years of painting. Sharing all of my tips and tricks in stencil and street art.
It is not that simple to just click the background and delete it. Really wish these types of videos used less than easy photos with little to no background in them. It’s like the work is already half done for you 😖
I use other options in some of my other videos like using the pen tool to create a selection path around your subject then load that path as a selection-this is the best method. I have also been using the Select-Subject tool in the new versions of photoshop and that also works surprisingly well. But you are right...I did kind of cheat by choosing an image with a really simple background.
Thanks for catching the warm/cool tone difference in those lines. I have been using Montana 94 for years and couldn't figure out what was going on there. Great video.
Yeah I had to share this tip as I have noticed it in so many peoples artworks including my own. Hopefully one day one of the paint manufacturers will make a nice neutral set of greys that work together perfectly.
This is sick. One question though, I guess you still have to check the layers and manually add bridges for pieces that might be alone and not connected with other parts of the same color which otherwise will fall off when you cut the masks. I saw another comment saying how it would be great in the future to go a step further and leave photoshop to make your OWN software. Hope this works out one day and you can focus on more details and features like the one I just mentioned🙏
Yes that is right, right now you have to add bridges manually but my programmer has figured out how to add automatic bridges which we hope to add soon. Especially with all the controversy around adobe these days it is something I have thought about alot and will be looking into the possibility to do that.
@@WickedPaint Well hope everything goes well I think that your idea and work will stand out more even in the form of a simple app with basic features . Thanks for the reply
Wow absolutely amazing I bought something off the website that told me to come on here really really good I’m impressed. I wanted to do a large picture of David Bowie on a Stag tallboy Chest just wondering, do you sell the kits so I can do that how many layers would it take to do the David Bowie? I’ll send you a picture in a while but thanks for letting me know about this. It’s truly amazing.
Yes of course. I just noticed you became a member so thank you! As a member you have access to the scripts, plugin and all of my stencils which are on the google drive. The link is posted in the community announcements but if you can't find it email me and I will send it to you.
