I think the Pels losing valencunas is going to hurt them way more than we expect. When they matched up va the kings he was such a good matchup for sabonis. Sabonis will body any center they have now. The ingrim stuff is weird for me also.
The math ain't mathing. Your saying there is a 9 games gap from 8 to 9. If that's the case the east should have at least 6 50 teams. Unless you think the west is just gonna dominate the east and have like 8 50 win teams.
Wiz 12-70 , Nets 12-70 Boston 61-21 76 will play very hard to get a good seed. Tied w Milw at 52-30 Pacers 48-34 NY only 46-36 5th seed Cavs 45-37 Orl 43-39
The AZ cardinals are like the United States military. They have potential, but they are just so horrible at what they are supposed to do... it's sad. And both haven't won since WW2. So there's another parody for you. I used to be Cardinals fan myself, but I stopped because I got sick and tired of losing. Also, the reason I stopped cheering for the USA.
Mavs were on like 57-58 win pace after their Trade Deadline moves last year, and I think they got even better this offseason. Idk why people are surprised about them being a 2 seed next season!
Nice prediction, but I hate to disagree with half of the Eastern Conference standings. I believe there will be some surprises in the East. I think the Hawks would be 5-6 seed if stay healthy. Pacers would regress a lil bit because their ECF run will be flukier than the Hawks' 2021 ECF run. The Heat will regress further because they didn't make any offseason moves. The Magic might be good, but they may hit the one-season wonder 🧱. The Pistons aren't ready for the postseason just yet. Raptors could make the play-in tournament.
@@ADESpider96 I don’t see the Hawks being a top 6 seed because I just don’t like Trae Young 😅. You aren’t helping your own case calling that Hawks ECF run super flukey. Interesting take on the Pacers since all the other comments are flaming me for having the Pacers too LOW! I don’t see the Magic falling below 7, the Magic have a great roster and are only getting better as such a young team. In theory I could see Miami falling below 8, but it depends on Jimmys health. Finally, I agree the Raptors are a better team on paper, it’s just will they try as hard as the Pistons to snag a meaningless 10 seed? Thanks for your comment though, love talking basketball with people!
@@ADESpider96 I’m not saying they didn’t have a flukey run to the ECF last year, but I think I accounted for their regression by then being the 7 seed. They are still a good team and they are adding Benedict Mathurin who they didn’t have last season. (The Hawks in 2021 did play a Giannis-less Bucks team for a few games, but Atlanta was missing Trae for just as many games so about evens out). The Knicks def would have beat them healthy, and the Bucks probably would have too, but that’s why they are a 7 seed in my predictions
Holy shit I had to downvote because the pacers disrespect. Bro never mentioned Tyrese’ injury, never mentionned the pacers being the second best offense in the league, or their defense getting better after the Siakam trade. You clearly dont know anything about that team.
@@goldblack310 I wonder if I would have gotten these kind of comments if I placed the Magic 7th hahah. It’s no disrespect, I went back and forth on who to put as that 7th seed. I understand the pacers (and haliburton) were better before his hamstring injury, and he should be fully recovered for this season. I think Siakam is great for this team. I think their offense will stay top 5ish but their defense will regress, especially if they start Mathurin next year in place of Nembhard or Nesmith. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but getting the 7th seed by one game hardly seems like a reason to immediately downvote. The 76ers and Heat were play-in teams last year and they were both very good teams (when healthy)
I’m tired of this Pacer disrespect out of nowhere, “can I blame you” yes. Your saying you think a Pacers team is losing 2LESS games that the previous season but…this time they have full season of Healthy Hali, Full Season of Pascal, full season of Nemby starting. And Jarace getting minutes and this team is gonna be WORSE, how in the world did this team suddenly become underrated, they were on track to be the 3 seed before Hali injury, I don’t understand. Whatever, one KCP signing doesn’t make the Magic better than the Pacers, they wouldn’t have placed better than them last year if the Pacers stayed Healthy. Not even the 5 seed is the craziest thing. Injuries to the other team or not this team has a ECF appearance. This is slowly becoming a popular opinion too, cause people forgot what the Pacers had to go through during the mid season that slowed them down. It’s no just Hali, a full season of Pascal on this team is gonna make a huge difference and you didn’t say anything about him.
@@zandermartin3445 I would not be surprised if they were a top 5 seed next year! It really just comes down to your own personal opinions because the middle of the East is so tightly packed. I would argue the Magic were also a top three seed for a decent portion of the year and I expect Franz Wagner to improve after his Olympics run, Paolo to make an All NBA team and KCP to be a great supporting piece. I think the Bucks (if healthy), Knicks, Celtics and 76ers (if healthy) are better teams, but the rest of the East will be super close!
Magic literally were on pace to be higher than the pacers last season before THEIR injuries too so that argument makes no sense. And the magic (and the other teams he listed above them) were already better or made more significant moves that makes the pacers schedule harder even if they have fewer injuries this time around
@@TrentPowers-gs8zi this is factually and statistically incorrect. Before Hali’s injury if these stayed at the same pace the Pacers would have been the 3, the Magic the 5. I love the Magics team, I also think this guy is high on the Cavs. In my world it’s 1. Boston 2. Philly 3. NYK 4. Magic 5.Pacers 6.Bucks I’m also not very high on the bucks this year. I didn’t mean to say Magic, I was in my feels in the original post. I do think the Magic are probably the same level of team as the Pacers. I meant the Cavs
@@zandermartin3445 it’s absolutely impossible to tell where the pacers would have been based on “halis stats”😭 the pacers fluctuated between the 4 and 8 seed all season and there wasn’t always a correlation between injuries. what we do know is that that the magic (when fully healthy) went through stretches of deep wins and were even a 2 seed in mid march for a few days. So no it is not “factually and statistically incorrect”. Don’t get me wrong, the pacers are still gonna be a good team and will only get better as time goes on. But their injuries aren’t the only reason for their inconsistency and until they add at least one significant defensive player they’re always going to have deep struggles. The magic signing KCP was huge and they’ll likely have the best or second best defense in the league given that even last year they were number 3
@@TrentPowers-gs8zi no, it’s not about stats it about wins and pace, I said they were on pace for the 3 seed, if you look at the record before Hali’s injury and do some quick math until you get to 82 games the Pacers would have been the 3 seed
i know u uploaded yesterday but video already outdated Denver signed Westbrook as well Clippers lost PG13 and westbrook Mavs also signed Spencer Dinwiddie took you way to long to upload , sry
I mentioned for an entire minute that the Clippers lost PG13, that was the entire Bad section for them. Westbrook was not in my commentary, but I do not think it is a big difference maker that he is NOT on the Clippers or that he is now ON the Nuggets. Dinwiddie has been on like 6 teams in 4 years, he is not a starter or big difference maker for the Mavs either
Pretty confident Ellis will start for the Kings I’m a huge fan of Simons on the Blazers, and I think they’ll be better than we expect, maybe like the 10 seed, I can see them being better the GSW
@@zandermartin3445 yeah def a possibility that Keon starts, but Huerter is making a LOT of money for a bench guy And yeah I mean Simons is a bucket, but he seems he could/should be the odd man out in the Blazers young backcourt
Hey everyone! Wanted to get something out as it has been a while since the last football video. Currently, we are still working on the next football video, which will be in the longer-form essay style. Also, just wanted to thank you all for the continued support for the channel. Be sure to let us know what you think of the video, and comment down below on what you're looking forward to this season.
Great video but some things of just like to say about a couple of teams Magic:You bring up how shooting is necessary for a point guard these days when mentioning Fultz, yet Scoot who basically can’t shoot was top 3, also Anthony Black exists so I do think Anthony will be starting much longer Pacers:While I agree they need a 3ND wing this offseason, there aren’t many great ones in free agency, they missed Benn Mathurin the whole playoff run who fills that role better than Nesmith, also Jarace Walker exists which is what Pacers need if the coach played him Bucks: Okay might be unpopular but I don’t believe Dame is that great anymore, obviously people get older but he never had superstar like Giannis next to him which I feel like doesn’t support his game, (Except Prime Lamarcus Aldridge) Bulls: They don’t need to resign Derozan, especially after trading Caruso (I know you made this before) but I do think they will cause Bulls are dumb but I definitely could see Demar leaving or a sign and trade. Hawks: A first overall pick can make you a playoff team, this might sound rude but it’s stupid to think otherwise, you have a team of two all-star, a great center and adding a star power forward like Sarr(I know they don’t like him or want Clignan, but I’m using him anyway), or Wing like Risacher can make you a playoff team. Nets: My good would have Mikal trade rise, I know he fell off, and isn’t worth 3 first round picks anymore, but many teams (like the pacers or hawks) would want a guy like him to be that next great wing if they don’t want to look at they’re young core to step up Raptors:Big miss on not making the bad keeping their pick, it went to the Spurs from the Poetl trade, if it rose they would have kept it I just wanted to say what I would have done differently but I did enjoy the video and just wanted to say this was well done, I’d suggest having words pop up on the screen as your talking to cover the stuff your saying, but other than that great vid
Thanks for all the feedback man! Didn’t have much time to edit because work was busy this week, but I usually do have words show up on screen with the main ideas. Just to respond to some of your takes Magic: I almost mentioned Anthony Black as a potential option in my script, but decided not to. Def saw some glimpses from him this year, but I’d still look to get a veteran guard to help for now Pacers: Benedict Mathurin is really a scorer, not a 3&D wing. Yes, he probably would have helped the pacers, but scoring was not the problem, it was their defense Bucks: I totally agree Dame is not coming back to be a 30 PPG scorer again, but still you have him! Bulls: I agree they SHOULD NOT re-sign Derozan, obviously optimally you get some value in a sign and trade, but I’d let him walk. Still the Bulls front office is addicted to being mid, so he’ll prob be back Hawks: In theory, they have a talented team, however, the play style of Trae and Dejounte, under many circumstances, has just proven to not work. The players at the top of this class don’t seem to provide immediate starter level value for a playoff level team; they more seem like raw project players (Rissacher, Sarr, etc) Nets: I think the Mikal Bridges trade is more of a “good” from last season than this season. His value decreases this year, so although he’s still valuable, hard to think of that as a “good”
Hey everyone! Sorry this video took such a long time to come out. I've had a long going on as of late. Let us know your thoughts down below, and as always, thank you for the support!
I'm a Celtics fan and I have a problem with the fanbase I made a joke that it would be funny if this Indian series went to seven after being up 3-0 and everyone got mad at me so because of that when they get to final I'm rooting against them *I'm not I love this team*
I'm not so sure. The Pacers are healthy and don't really give a shit what happens next, seeing as they've gone much deeper than anyone expected. That can be a dangerous combination.
The Timberwolves are in big problem because every team that has eliminated the defending champions has went on to lose. I hope that the Timberwolves will not be that team. I want the Timberwolves to win the NBA Title this year. Especially, when they are healthy.
