Hey, I just discovered your channel bro. What you said at 7:45 is really concerning me. It deeply saddens me that you're thinking this way. When did you start feeling this way?
Hey, thanks for reaching out. There have been countless times in the past where I've felt like this. It's nothing really new for me, but it's always a struggle to deal with though. I'd say I'm feeling a bit better now since the recording, but still feel low and unmotivated. I think I'll be fine. Try not to worry about me, but I appreciate your concern :)
Hi. I admire you for stepping out of your comfort zone. This is how we grow as individuals. Well done. And when people block you, dont take it personal. People move in and out of our lives sometime, thats life.
I don't have the confidence to drive. My concentration and awareness is much too poor to drive. Plus I easily get dizzy when I turn my head rapidly and quickly, and my anxiety intensifies dramatically if I'm on the road.
It's encouraging that you are taking positive steps forward and that is brilliant. Stay focused and take baby positive steps ahead. Life is a marathon, not a sprint. We are more fortunate than most...
I wear sandals year round. My feet sweat a lot and I get knarly toenail fungus if I wear regular shoes too much. Plus I think regular shoes are extremely uncomfortable if I wear them too much. Chacos are the best. I been wearing the same pair for like 2 years now 😆
Thank you for your comment. It's nice to know that other people like to wear sandals full-time as well. It gives me more confidence in myself and my choice. Just wondering, what gender are you? I'm asking because women seem to be more widely accepted for wearing sandals than men.
@@mentalhealthwithhoimansimo6620 Too much egoism and violence for sure... There are some nice things, of course, but things could be so much better... 😩 I don't have many hopes for humanity changing for the better out of nowhere, so I can only dream for some genetic engineering or A.I. solution in far'ish future... ✌🏻👴🏻
Very smart of you to stay in your room to pass your emotions away, i do the same like you do, preventing any emotional interference to avoid any regrets from happening. Cheers to that and to us, I'm proud of you Hoiman!
Living with mental health and depression for many years I have come to understand phases of emotions and moods I go through, so I've learnt various ways on how to cope with them. Isolating myself in my room to let the negative mood pass is one of them.
Typically when you have a lot emotions invested for no effect in the long run, is safe to say that you gotta let go of that character, object or person. This mentality only drains you in the long run and it isn't doing you any good mentally IF you can't or won't do anything about it. You wanna stray away from that and look forward to other more plausible events/things that will and can happen, especially ones you have the effort to change. Also if you're really invested in that character aren't there mods that let you import models to the game? If there isn't ,would you give it a shot at modeling that character in, like a reskin? You could do an actual character moveset but that requires complex coding. Regardless, if you choose not to import the character yourself then that's a good sign that you can move on from that path. If you do manage to import the model, then a pat on the back to you, you just opened another talent on top of your works (which in my opinion: I think you can learn to model using 3d blender or 3dsmax, much like you sculpt your art as well!) Whatever path you take is a win-win in my humble opinion.
Also you have to develop more of that positive mentality. If you're tired of doing the same things then its time for a change. Most people fear change but it is always necessary in life and most of the time the change happens naturally or by force. Think about this, nothing in life stays in place, everything changes. I would suggest looking into adding new/different hobbies, ones that require you to work outside or such like gardening, mechanic building, any kinds of sports, maybe even an animal to take for a walk or anything else really. Also if you're brain gets used to hearing good news you can train it to like a positive environment! It's like rewiring your brain, it works!
I'm usually rather casual when it comes to Smash. I'm often happy with whatever character gets in. If it isn't Lloyd, I'm usually not that upset. Disappointed, yes. But not really too bothered. I try not to let things get me down too much, which can be very hard at times when you suffer from mental health. I guess I'm going through a phase where it's bothering me more frequently than usual. But after speaking out about it in this video, I do actually feel a little better, like releasing some bottle-up feelings. As for coding Lloyd through a mod, I'm hopeless when it comes to that stuff :P But I do appreciate you lending an ear to my struggles. Thank you :)
@@mentalhealthwithhoimansimo6620 That's a good thing to hear by the way. Knowing that you dont have it in you to code the character "Lloyd" in gives hope that you can move on if it doesn't happen because some part of you is ok with that happening. I've said this before but add another hobby to refresh your mind to widen more a new perspective. You got this Hoiman!💪
Instead of binge-eating why don't you seek for another method? like working out perhaps. Buy yourself some dumbells, exercising lets out all your negative energy out , it really helps you push you further, and on top of that it gets you physically and mentally healthy. There's hundred of videos out there that can help reach your milestones on the way. Be sure to check them out! You got this Hoiman!
I've tried weights and exercise for a few months in the past but it's not really helped me that much. It's also hard just to find the strength and motivation to do it.
@@mentalhealthwithhoimansimo6620 You need a partner or a trainer, that'll help you get motivated. Sometimes in life you need someone else to push you out. Investing your time to actually put effort will change your form of thinking once you dedicate to it. Talk to trainers out there to help you out. Unfortunately, most gyms are closed due to the pandemic but it can done with the right equipment. Invest your time to get better because most of the time we choose to get comfortable were we are at, and thats dangerous. Get comfortable being uncomfortable. Because at the end of the day, in us, we have the worst enemy to deal with. Dont let your emotions control you, you control your emotions, keep that in mind Hoiman.

Keep on fighting Hoiman! There's always endless possibilities along with choices. Hopefully working on those novels will help unlock new features about yourself, stories out there really help unlock a new way of thinking of life!
@@mentalhealthwithhoimansimo6620 It really is! The sense of accomplishing anything, even the smallest of a goal, really is satisfying. I hope you look back every now and then at the work you've done. It just tells you that you got talent and that you're useful ! Keep grinding Hoiman!
@@ThePumpkinJack Yeah, I do look back on what I've accomplished in the past from time to time. When I'm feeling down or negative in myself I sometimes look back at what I HAVE done and accomplished. It generally lifts my mood back up.
@@mentalhealthwithhoimansimo6620 Yes! Now imagine what you can accomplish in the future, unlimited possibilities. Also, we both know that as more you progress the better you'll get at any subject. Trust me when you'll see a huge contrast from back then and now. Be proud of yourself Hoiman :) Won't stop never stop!
Hey, Kyle! Can't believe I'm talking to THE Kyle Hilliard! Feels so strange :P Just want to say thank you for all the laughs and informative look at so many video games I've never been aware of. Thank you. You and many of the GI staff have helped me through many stressful and difficult times. Your humor is very fun and entertaining to listen to, especially the Sega Saturn videos. Yeah, I heard that you were let go from GI. Sorry to hear that. It's very unfortunate. But don't give up! Whatever you decide next in life I wish you the very best!
Aside from mental health, doctors can't really diagnose why I get intense nose bleeds. But taking Chinese herbal medicine definitely helps with that. I appreciate you checking on me, by that way. Thanks. And thanks for subscribing.
Glad that you had a happy birthday; Don't be scared of people or life. I know that some people can hurt and be cruel. But the worst thing to do is to keep memories of them. Try to block them out of your world, because most of them may be dead or certainly useless by now. Don't let anger fuel your passion, don't allow memories of people or places bring you down. This was never an easy option, to be born. None of us asked to be born. But we are stuck with it.....we have to see it through, to understand who we are, our soul, and why we are here. We all have a purpose in life. You are here for a reason. You are going to go up, down, turn around. It will make you feel sick. It will make you cry, happily and with frustration. Understand, you are important, and intelligent and artistic, you bring to our world your unique talents, the ability no-one else can. Have faith in the light of our sun, every day, it shines for you.
I wanted to tell you, that BBC Radio 3 did a documentary on AI and video game music, perhaps you can look up their past recordings and find it. I love classical music, (Bach, Beethoven,Mozart). So I always listen to Radio 3. I am glad you made it down safely to your Torquay, and you enjoyed, keep writing and drawing and learning.
I remember times when I have been up and down. I remember when I was aged 15, and i just sat in a darkened room of our house, staring out the window...my father came and saw me, and he just said, angrily: "what are you doing?" I hated that he never even tried to understand. All he could see were shades and light and the sun through the window. All I could see were thunderstorms and darkness and clouds and my reflection. I hated everyone and loved everyone, it was a rollercoaster throughout my life, trying to be friends and having people reject me because they wouldn't understand me. Hollow inside, shallow, hard to explain....quite low.....up and down.... I know how you feel, confused about it all. You are not the only one:)
I feel you. back when I was around 8 and started to develop mental health (anxiety and depression) I would stay holed up in my personal space surrounded by toys. I would play with the toys to take my mind off the depressive feelings (even though I didn't even know what depression was at the time) but still not really enjoy myself. Though my dad still lived in the same house, he never acknowledged me and spent most of his time gambling and making our family suffer. I was 8, crying for help with no one to answer.
I am rather the wrong way around in everything I do, which means I will start with your latest video and work backwards. Your drawings are wonderful. Keep drawing what you see, and what you feel. Don't be afraid to draw what your life understands; there is no understanding in perfection, and no perfection in understanding. What you write, what you draw, what you talk about Is you, be yourself, and enjoy your individuality and understanding. You are important and intelligent, artistic and loving, thoughtful and emotional. It is all you can ever do; the world will love you back
Thank you so much for your support. Though I can't do too much at a time due to my mental health, I keep pushing myself to do the things I like and express myself through my writing and drawings.
Thanks for talking about your memories; I'm way to old now to remember most things (I'm 54 years old) but I recall in the 1970's buying cards for sport and the usual cartoons. I remember we used to get transfers in breakfast cereals, they would be used with water to put a transfer on your arm, and I loved scooby doo, and daphne in particular, so I put this transfer on my arm of Daphne and proudly showed it to my father, who feigned some interest when I explained that she was my girlfriend (we all fall in love with cartoon characters sometimes)
Beyblades is but one of my childhood nostalgia. I plan on making more Real Talk videos talking about other things that have a very special place in my heart. I also remember getting those transfers in cereal boxes (though they were beginning to lose popularity by that time) and reflectors to add to bike wheels so that they glow in the dark. Memories:)
Hello friend, my name is Philip, I live on Teignmouth Road (the old road, near the Mount Stuart Hospital) and so I pass your old place almost every day. I moved to the area in 1995, and i remember when it was your place, and i used to work at the old South Devon College. Torre has always been a happy place for me to live in, people are always friendly around here, and say hello, I am so glad you came back, and understood and experienced your memories. I have gone back to places I used to live at; it is something good to do, so you can understand where you are, and how you have changed. Memories are nothing perfect, but they make us who we are, and I am so very happy for you that you can come back to your beautiful home and feel proud and content.
Welcome to my channel, Phili[. Thank you so much for subscribing. Yes, I feel it's important to revisit places, especially childhood areas, to reflect on your own beginnings, memories, beginnings, etc. It's these things that remind you of who you are and who you've become. While many people walked past me down in Torquay, I just stood in place for a long time just soaking in all the memories and nostalgia.
