For those going on and on about Flo, she was not a victim and she was certainly not as selfless as some believe. Mary Wilson said in one interview that Flo wanted to be lead singer because she actually was the best singer of the three, and she didn't take it well after she realized that opportunity would go to Diana. She began to act out and behave unprofessionally during their live performances. Then she started to drink. The Supremes wasn't just about good music. The other girl groups had that. The Supremes were just different. They had a different energy from all the others and a lot of that came out from Diana's personality. Flo would never have carried that group very far as lead singer.
As much as I love this song, and anything written by Diane Warren, I could direct a much better music video than this, maybe have some super hunky European model as a love interest.
Like so many Motown and Supremes fans, l wanted to see Diana, Mary Wilson and Cindy Birdsong. But, a big part of the feud between Diana and Mary was the fact that Diana would record songs while the she and other members of the group were away on vacation.

This proves that a concert doesn't have to be over an hour long to be great. You don't even need dancers and pyrotechnics. Just a spotlight, a singer, a band and maybe a few good backing singers. Just think of all the money saved!
