I understand why people make these claims, they're scammers. What i don't understand are the flunkies that participate in these bs demonstrations. Honestly, what's in it for them (beyond public humiliation)? 😅
This is obviously nonsense. I’ve been practicing qigong for nearly 40 years. I don’t teach, and I don’t engage in any of this fictitious chi energy stuff. However, I wanted to share that it’s not because of these fake chi master clowns that qigong is totally nonsense. I have a serious medical condition, and although the qigong exercises don’t heal me, they do allow me to live a nearly normal life, and people often tell me that I look 10 years younger than my age. It could well be that I’m just lucky to have a strong body, but every time I've stopped practicing, which I’ve done many times over the years, I get very sick. When I start practicing again, I get back to normal. So, for me, there is definitely something to it. Now skeptics may say it’s just a placebo effect, and I’ll reply well, maybe it is, but for sure that effect, if that’s what it is, allows me to lead a normal, healthy life.
This chi power has never ever been demonstrated against a real fighter and never will be, then again about 80% of what you read and see on the internet in reference to spiritual or alternative practices is total nonsense, sometimes copied from authentic practices and clowned up to attract attention. Having studied and practiced Qi Kong, and some Tai Chi and Bagua for nearly 40 years, I can say that it’s not a form of weird magic that turns you into superman. It’s simply a very invisible silent energetic vibration, frequency or wave that can assist your body in maintaining very good health within the limits of your possibilities, i.e. if you’re partying every night nothing may happen, also if you have a chronic illness, like myself you may not get cured but if you are serious, it may just make life much easier and enjoyable. I’m 61 and people generally see me as 50, I have Type 1 diabetes as well as being involved in a major road accident at 17, creating spinal, shoulder and hip damage. And instead of the intense pains that I’ve suffered most of my life getting worse with age, they are getting much better to the point I hardly feel pain in these areas anymore, when I was told by doctors that they will get worse.
Better a live coward than a dead hero, I've always believed. Sure people will still sing about dead heroes from time to time, but aside from that they get little attention. This is a fake tai chi practitioner, a sheer phony. I’ve been in a range of martial arts for the last three years and I can tell you that every martial art requires hands on, and power. Strength and training. Tai chi at its base should be more striking and less “magic”, unlike what this man showed.
