Great video! Only thing I’m not sure about is the roll of ribbed stripping. It’s not mentioned in my Instructions or in any videos I’ve watched. I assumed at first it was to help seal the edges, but not seeing it in the videos. Where did you install?
I just removed the slotted and drilled ones and went with the geomet coated powerstop. I am very impressed with these. Quiet and work well stops the car quick. The slotted look better but they make these weird noises like you said never again will I purchase slotted rotors
Great job!! Just followed everything you did and bam 💥. Installed perfectly! Ready to go now! One question if you see this, I had 3 pieces of vinyl that came in my box, but didn’t see where they go, or even in the instructions. Did you get those?
@@WaterFowler41 well holy crap!! Been racking my brain over these vinyl pieces, and was hoping to come back here and you’d answered my question. You did! Whoop whoop! LolI didn’t see them in the parts list but maybe I missed it. Sure appreciate it brother!!
Use the link in the video description. TUXMAT just changed their affiliate platform. The link should apply the discount for you. The codes will no longer work unfortunately.
Good looking rack. A question. Do you know, are there any cab roof racks that can support a pop up roof top tent, including with one or two adults sleeping inside it?
I have a RAM 1500 here in Australia. When it was factory it didnt fit in my double car Australian garage. Not front to back nor floor to ceiling. Envy your garages in the USA.
Thank you for the awesome video. I picked up a 2023 used without the heated steering wheel and just find out that it qualify for this. Would have never know this program. thanks again !
These are great dash cams. Installation was super easy. Unfortunately no longer need the truck so it came out before trading it in. Well worth the money.
I'm doing the same UCA swap out, but having a very hard time finding the torq specs. I've watched several videos and everyone has a different number... Can anyone point me to documentation that shows the torq specs? For UCA frame nuts, upper ball joint nut, sway bar nuts, sway bar end link nuts.
Well done video review. I recently had an X4S installed on my Ram 2500. The X4S does not have a generous waterfall front weather seal, the ends of the side rails are unfinished, basically cut metal. The side rail ends leave a sizable opening for water, insects, etc. to migrate into the bed. In addition to the tie-down options, yours is a much better and functional looking product.
Thank you for the great instructional video. I did remove the A-Pillar which allowed me to thread the rear camera wire behind the airbag so it won't be disturbed if the airbag deployed. I especially liked your tip about waiting to mount the rear camera until powered up.
Great review! I have mine set up, both front and rear as well, and while I can see the rear while in "live" view, I can't figure out how to DOWNLOAD the rear camera. None of the documentation says anything about this. Do you know how to do it? Thanks!
I ended up swapping out my 1500 after market heavy duty swaybar with one for a 2500 and it was just as big of a difference as when I made the original upgrade my aggressive driving just got even more enjoyable.
I'm not sure if i would leave the deflector on blocking part of the radiator. Also i think it would be a good idea to fab a hose to the intake hose for PCV. Theres no problem with venting to atmosphere, but like someone else said, a little vacume is helpful.
Very good vid, thanks. And a beaut of a cover. The one thing that isn't clear, is how well this seals water out of the bed at the back end when the tailgate is closed, from the back corners across the center, and how that is accomplished. How well does this keep water out in various types of weather and power washing and such? Thanks.
Great detail on your video, I just added tow hooks to my ‘23 BigHorn HEMI. I had to remove the two bezels with a 5/16” wrench and install the new ones. I tightened a large pipe wrench to the 18mm long bolts and tapped down with a hammer. 🔨 The heavy pipe wrench and length only took about 3 taps for that retaining clip to push out. I did have the ram scoop to work around as well but no issues. 👏👏👏
Can I ask if you had the $140 credit on your window sticker? Just trying to figure out what the difference is between the VINs that made the list and those that didn’t. Thanks.
@@joshbrunner4351 Yes I had the $140 Credit on the Window Sticker. I think it all comes down to the Dealership and if they want to put the work in or not to get the heated wheel retrofit approved..
I would've liked to see you keep the rebel. I came to your channel to learn how to mod my rebel and now that it's gone oh well. guess I got to find someone else with a rebel now
I used them for roadtrip season to keep the seats from getting beat up by the kids and dogs, yeah they don’t flow with the cf but durability is key and I don’t like all black covers
If you're looking for them, you'll see them. It's cheap enough of a project that if you don't like them, you can probably offload them to someone else or return to F150LEDs.
Just a quick question on wiring the backlighting, can I connect this to my power from mg grill lights that is fuse tapped on my Fuse 44 so its always on as my grill lights? Thanks!
Hello. I just bought a 2019 ram with the same filter set up. Just wondering when do you have to replace the filter? I don’t know when the filter was installed. I bought the truck that way. I just hit 77k miles on it
