i adore matcha but i think probably a larger reason folks might not like it is it's quite an acquired taste! a lot of first time people will call it grassy. this is a great point for finding a better quality product if you do like it though, thanks!
Matcha is traditionally a hot tea made simply with matcha, and hot water. You're supposed to whisk about 2 grams of matcha into some cold/warm water (if your water is too hot you can damage the delicate flavors) and then water it down with hot water until you reach your desired taste. Modern Matcha drinks typically add in a syrup of sorts, milk, or both. It can also be used in baking and culinary applications. Matcha is amazing
