Chequered Flag (@0:55) was the first 'proper' F1 simulation I ever player. For 1983 it was impressive. Would have been to see Revs (by Geoff Crammond) on there. That was pretty astounding at the time too. I've a lot of love for Turbo. I played that a lot in the arcade, although I wouldn't class it as a Formula 1 sim ;-)
@@landonbangerter These lists, or rather rankings, are the stuff of consensus: nobody invented them. They list the best games. People who are passionate about video games know all these games and their value. Who's to say these lists aren't just copy-pastes of other lists? I'm not going to mention anyone when I'm doing the same ranking. That's ridiculous.
@@VGE And as objective as we tried to be when we came up with these lists, our attempt at objectivity is still subjectivity. Not all of us held the same components to the same standards as others. We came up with the rankings. You did not.
Dr. J and Larry Bird was such an awesome game! I remember you could shatter the backboard and then the guy that would come out to sweep it up would yell at you
I was still young back then, I remember most of that. Now one probably understands why we preferred to race in the arcade hall rather than on the console or PC at home in the early 90s. Despite the nostalgia, I prefer current simulators :)
Nhl 23 doesn't have winter classic mode. They should though put all the venues for the winter classic including stadium series and heritage classic miss that mode.
