I film cinematic walks, runs, bike rides in world famous cities and in nature. My films have ambient audio, no talking, no music, just relaxing soothing cinematic visuals for work, study, or relaxation.
If you enjoy relaxing films WITH calming music. Check my other channel "darekm101 - Cinematic Relaxation" where I pick the most stunning footage I've ever captured and edit it to carefully curated relaxing music, link below. ru-vid.com/show-UCeWcmYIOABiQYkb8tC444DQ
hi! great footage. I'm watching the video because I want to explore Chicago. did you take your own kayak? do you recommend the one that you have? is it free to kayak there? where was the launch site?
Looking forward to explore this beautiful lake….thank you again for the inspiration. Am thinking of building a drone landing flat form on the Oru Kayak🤔🫣…just to get a different perspectives…and a wet bag for the electronics. Oru Kayak should pay or at least sponsored you….considering the name recognition on the paddle. You are living ‘The Life’ my friend. Am checking out Boundary Waters of northern MN, Wisconsin and Canada shore lines before Blue Lake and others. Best wishes to your future ventures. Nameste.
Thank you!!! My channels are still too small for sponsors, but I’ll get there. I have not flown the drone myself when I kayak. I taught my wife to fly it, but I did learn to take off an hand from my hand. When I land in hand, for landing I put the drone in Cinema mode and turn off safety sensors (otherwise the drone recognizes hand as obstacle) Thanks again for reaching out and your kind words!
I wonder if they actually have a real restaurant called the adelewise like they did in that lacey chebert hallmark film winter in vail !!! They called it the adelvice . I wonder if that really exists there and its really in the traditional section of town as it is in the movie film . That and the chele lacey stayed in . I have to see this place for myself. I whould absolutely Love to go up there and check it out for myself. Ive got to see it sometime.
Beautifully made 4K silent hike. Thank you for the efforts. What are the electronic equipments you have on you besides water and food? What’s the total weights? Lastly what the exact month and date of the trip? Just curious. I will be there in 3.5 months doing R2R.
Thank you! It’s my dream to do rim to river to rim trail run. Are you walking or trail running? This was recorded ok gopro, mounted on a dji gimble, in a z-axis stabilizer. External microphone was zoom h1n. I think the weigh is relatively reasonable. Probably 2 pounds.
Thanks for the information. I also want to express a deep appreciation and gratitude for this video as well as the other videos that you have invested the resources and time to produce 4K silence hiking. I went ahead and ordered the 3D printed ScottyMakesStuff Micro Pro 2 Z-Axis stabilizer, DJI Osmo Pocket, GoPro Max and GoPro Hero 12 and of course my trusty iPhone 15 pro max with lots of backup batteries and filters. They are in total 8.5-10 lbs…trying to get it down to 6 lbs. Every ounce counts for long hikes. I hiked R2R not trail run. The risks are too high. I have other safer trail options for runs. I planned two hikes…5 days and nights. Also during my 15 breaks I plan to do some journaling and watercolor sketches…’slow down and silence’…old school style. Keep up the great work!
@@christophertran8896 you’re too kind! BTW. I didn’t have good luck with scotty makes stuff, it’s flimsy. I got the z-axis on amazon. I’ll write a longer recommendation for your gear adjustment when I get back. Mixing media from all these devices will cause headaches in post processing.
No worries. RU-vid seems to do 1-Pass to get all resolutions done first in standard definition (color space Rec.709). That's usually 1 day, so within 24 hours. Then they do second pass in next couple of days, where the quality seems to improve to most optimal it will ever be. Finally... As the last pass, they'll process for HDR with color space Rec.2020. When I was first establishing HDR workflow, I was going nuts thinking I was doing something wrong. I almost gave up, despite investing in 10-bit cameras. LOL. I tried every container imaginable, MP4, QuickTIme MOV, even MKV... Various color spaces for HDR... in the end... I just wasn't patient enough. LOL BTW... I love your logo!
Wanted to do the Reinebringen hike but was concerned it would be too scary. Looks like it was but unbelievable how beautiful it was on a perfect day with the weather.
Thank you for your comment. The trail is well-maintained, and they've built the first part of it to be quite safe. At the top, we decided to keep going higher like others. That part was a bit sketchy, but many people turned around after the safe parts.
@@darekm101 Have to go back some time when the bank lets me. Might try it if I get a chance. Had so many other great hikes in Lofoton, Værøy, and Røstlandet, not to mention all the ones on the mainland.
Sorry if this has been asked many times before but what equipment did you use for this? I am travelling from Australia in October to do the South Kaibab to Bright Angel. Keen to try and capture some footage of my own. Thank you!
Thanks for your question and no worries. I have recorded this on a GoPro mounted on "Z Axis Stabilizer" and for audio I used Zoom H1n microphone. I have recently switched away from GoPro to the DJI action cams, both are great my reasons had to do with recording car rides more than anything. Australia is on my list of places to visit! Have a great day!
Excellent video! Love the stability of the GoPro and the video quality is perfect. I was just there with my daughter (from Texas) and wish we had the time to walk the Riverwalk. We walked over it on the way to the Cheesecake Factory. The sun, lighting, and colors bouncing off the water and buildings is gorgeous ❤ Added to my virtual treadmill playlist
Than you for such a kind comment! I hope your workouts will be more adventures with my videos. I also work out to various videos like that, not just mine. Have a great day and happy workouts!
Why are you showing pictures of the Wasa ship in Stockholm, Sweden, while you are talking about the Vikingship Museum in Oslo? Wrong ship, even wrong country!

Oh you're too kind! I love Italy! Took many amazing photos in Dolomites and Venice, so much more to explore and film. We'll be back! BTW.. my daughter just flew in from Italy few days ago.
@@darekm101 thank you for answering me.... I live in Ortona, a small town of 25,000 inhabitants on the coast of the Adriatic Sea, in the Abruzzo region. my dream is to be able to see California at least once. I was in 2010 in Philadelphia, New York, Baltimore...... the USA is the most beautiful country in the world!!! ❤️🇺🇸❤️👋 sorry my english, I'm using google translate
I lived in Breckenridge for 10 years, served on the county Water Rescue Team and Red White & Blue FD. Many good memories, however that place is not what it used to be. Love the old days and when it was a smaller town.
This is indeed very heartwarming and very wonderful and i wish that Shanann Watts and Bella Watts and Celeste Watts and Nico Watts would also still be alive that way they can enjoy this beautiful town and see it with there own eyes as well and amen:).
I need to know how these people film these videos. Is that a drone moving and panning at a specific speed? I can't visualize a person walking at this speed and panning the camera like that...how do they do it?
Hello, we are a production team for a Korean TV program. We would like to use this video in our program. Is it possible to use the video with attribution? Looking forward to your reply :)
