For checking the hash in Windows, I recommend using a program called OpenHashTab that adds a tab to file properties, where you can check the hash using various algorithms
I do not have GT7 as yet but knowing the rally heritage if the games it would be absolutely nuts if they allowed a 2nd VR2 headset for a copilot. 2 seater gaming rigs with both pov's would be awesome.
I think if anything, the upscaling makes you appreciate how much detail they packed into the overall visual design of the game. There were things you couldn't always see due to the low fiedlity of the image. It's insane they got the game looking as good as it did, even running at 240p on the original Playstation.
Guys u can get HDR in Windows 11 by selecting DX 12 in renderer settings in PCSX2, then just go to display settings of W11 and turn on Auto HDR! That is if your gfx card and monitor/tv supports HDR.
Never could smoothly run GT4 before, but your settings really nailed it! Running the GT4 Spec II mod and it works perfectly, up to 4k with 60fps on my M1 Pro Macbook with Metal, pcsx2 v2.0.2. Thanks for sharing this!
game runs fine but replays can't be saved (crashes the game) and the game can't make ghost runs of your car work, any info on issues like that? first time trying the game this way
This is a fantastic mod, truly is! I just have one gripe with it, they removed the option to have the LEFT stick to brake/throttle which worked perfectly if you rebound the buttons for your controller to use the triggers to use because you needed to brake and accelerate at the same time which you barely cant if you have only the right sticks bound for acc/brakes for obvious reasons so to use the left stick for that makes it a separate axels which allows acceleration breaking. So is there a possibility this could be added to Spec II?
