First time I have ever ever caught the magician doing the trick. You can see him move the card to the top with both hands, prior to putting deck back on table, then just flipped the top card off when pulling the cards apart to make it look like it came from the middle of the deck. Meh magic.
your excitement when you do the trick right reminds me when i see the words approved after making a purchase on my credit card. Great trick, my only guess is the slight of hand you shoved 2 7's in his sleeve when you said were going to mix them up
He already had the four of clubs on the top of the deck. When he cut the deck he put the top part on the bottom and where the guy cut he put on top. Then he asked him top or bottom. If he would’ve said top he would’ve taken away the top and left the bottom, but he said bottom so he left the bottom and took away the top with the four of clubs already on top of the deck.
The magic is not in the method... But the presentation... This was do simple if done by an amateur, no one would have gasped. But he controlled the crowds expectations perfectly
@@JoshNorbidoi don’t care about the rest, whether you’re tracking or what. The point is you’re directing him at the point that I mentioned and no matter what he chooses (top or bottom) you were going to hand him that top card from the bottom pack. He didn’t actually have a choice in that instance.
@JoshNorbido I'm not sure that it's the compliment you think it is. Far more impressed with SoH. Unless that is how you made it work. Distract, switch, taadaa. If that's the case then yes, I am indeed impressed.
My friend did the same trick and he adds this line to his performance everytime. "'I swear to my parents if that was a stooge, both my parents will get the nastiest cancer" That will make your audience believe you more. The problem of this magic is it is so simple and plain and it gives no choice to the audience that can only think it is stooge.
Coin magic is so hard, i tried it and seriously the sleight of hands with this is i think the hardest of them all, cards are great too but coins have this ability to cramp your shit up before you can even do one simple movement, i tried to learn from the dvd's of a guy named Jean Pierre Crispon that i had the chance to see live in Paris, and yeah i kinda stopped doing any form of magic since i moved out of Paris but this guy is insane too you should check him out !
Your showmanship and your sleights are fabulous, Josh. The video effect of your head popping does not add anything to the magic you convey with your performance.
Ok my favorite part was the… that’s a new joke. Don’t know why. I always love the going in reverse joke too. FYI. You are the only magician/comedy I still watch regularly. WES Barker is close though.
