Young Raynard is looking for a free fish or two I think. Another hard match for you there Ceirion, keep going with the head down, sure to come up a winner at some point.
I've mentioned this before... When I've added an Anchovy Fillet to baits when every one else was getting swamped by dogs, I've had Ray and Smoothies... and no more dogs! Could've just been luck, or maybe there's something to it? Little tins from Aldi or Lidl about 60p and you get 8 to 12 fillets. They hold up surprisingly well. Give it a go! I elastic them on with squid and Whiting baits.
Another great video Ceirion and I reckon that the double ray was over 90cm as it had a distinct bend in its body and tail so if it had been straight it would've gone over but we'll done on the challenge and on your pb shore caught thornback 👍 👌
Nice one 😀 excellent way to notch up the September ray. I am concerned though about the rabid Anglesey rock hamster that's going for your throat. Cheers Ceirion for a crackin' sesh. 🧔 👍
Another great video Ceirion at least you didnt blank I've not been out since the 1st at Pwllheli and had a bream and dragonnet and thousands of flies everywhere. I've got a white net bag which I got from lidl and put it over my head and under my hat to keep them away from my face but i did get a few bites on my arms
Had 2 blank sessions off Penrhyn, Cemaes during the last few days 😢 Might try Holyhead Penrhos or inland sea on Sunday! Got to get out while this great weather holds!! 👍
What I find best with the Gemini rotten bottoms is to not “cinch” the plastic washer down all the way and just have it pushed onto the wire just enough to retain the weak link. That way when it hits the water the resistance shouldn’t be too much that it doesn’t release the weight like it did with you on that cast.
Another option what I tend to do is to trim the release arm down slightly with a pliers. The plastic disk sits in the bend as it should but then has less distance to travel to release 👍
Nice going with good result. It does seem though that woofers are only there to give agrovation at all levels. They can be absent when you want them or out in droves when you don't. Looking forward to a tombola for a titfer. 🧔 👍
Another great video Ceirion 2 sharks can't be bad even if one was a lsd. There used to be quite large turbot caught in cardigan bay from the charter boats and hotel owners and restaurant owners would be waiting on the quayside to buy them from the anglers and 1 fish could pay for your trip 😀
