Hey sorry im sooo late to this! My hair actually used to be in that form naturally until i dyed it and it killed my curls. How long does it stay in that form after perming?
Hello 👋🏼, did you do this perm like the est you did on your braid pieces? (Basically not following the box rules and leaving the rods in while you rinsed off the neutralizer )

Best perm yet! You always look amazing with tight curls, but them being mixed up with looser curls breaks it up nicely 😁 I think you should mix up the colors too - I love the red at the front, and I really think you should add super light blonde cap highlights to the back in with the dark brown to lift up the overall color, and give a proper light/dark mixup! You would look incredible if you did it with that curl mix!
Agree! Would love to see you give your hair the ultimate dimension by giving those stunning mix sized curls the platinum forsting treatment with the silicone cap. It would be your BEST EVER hair if you do!!!

Thank you ☺️ I perm it every 3-6 months. It’s the best that I’ve used but I haven’t used everything 😊 it damages your hair like coloring does you just have to take care of your hair and trim it ☺️
I honestly just get the cheapest ones I can find on Amazon or if you have Sally’s or a hair store. I use quantum ultra firm perm solution. I also use jumbo end papers which I also get from amazon or a hair store ☺️
I think it had to do with the direction of rolling and angle you held the hair at when rolling and smoothness of the sections was different. The section of hair on the left side of the screen was very smooth, and you held the rod in the same vertical position the entire length, rolling slightly upward and toward the back. The hair section on the right side of the screen didn't appear to be as smooth and the direction you held it at seemed more dowward. You also held the rod horizontally at first and rolled it under instead of upward/toward the back. Then rotated the rod a quarter turn to be vertical. This will cause the difference you're seeing between the nice spiral (left) andtypical S shape (right). I hope this helps.
I agree. Whenever I have my hair permed, they always neutralize before (but sometimes they use a little after) removing the rods. Your hair is always so cute!
I actually like your bangs straight - you could leave them out of your upcomimg perm and you'd look great! Which perm rods are you going to use? I love the curls red rods give you!
@@ApriLynn Especially if you use the zig zag partings when winding like you did once before - so small sections next to each other all throughout your hair end up with big and small curls mixed together! You'll look gorgeous!!! Also, seeing as your bangs are completely straight now as well as being bleached, now would be a good time to try experimenting by leaving them out of the perm this time. I think you look really pretty with lots of defined curls throughout your longer hair and straight bangs. If contrast is the aim of this next perm, then keeping your bangs straight this time would nail it!!! When's the video out???

I don't have a perm at the moment, but when I shower, I shampoo, then condition, followed by wearing a shower cap until I finish the shower. THEN (Finally!) I remove the shower cap and rinse -and my hair is deep-conditioned! But I don't know if that would work for permed hair.
Is shea moisture for 4c hair or all curly hair types? Ive seen mixed answers since the containers don’t have labels or pictures showing the curl types it works best on. Also could it be my hair is a bit weak since SOMETIMES when i comb in the shower with a detangler and a conditioner I have a lot of hair coming out? Im thinking it could be from stress since there’s something happening at least every week.
I think it works for all curly types. I think it would work very good on 4c hair 😊 if you only detangle your hair in the shower it could just be a build up of every day hair shed.

I just used a exothermic perm for the first time and was a fan of acid waves , but I love how firm the exothermic left the curls ! Ps love the new bangs
