I have a very special place in my heart for palamino hunter ponies.. ❤ Unfortunately my daughter prefers bays.. And horses. I dont care how old I get, im still short, when I win the lottery I am getting one just to have a heart pony to ride around lol.
Wny does she wear jods and garters for the regulars but tall boots in the medal?? Genuinely curious.. In my day you did not get tall boots until 14/15 at least.
She just started that recently, likes the feel better in the EQ with tall boots, she feels tighter. In the small pony hunters she stays age appropriate with jods.
Why are kids on small ponies in tall boots? I couldn't wear them until I was 14 almost 15. Same with my daughter now. 12 year olds do not need tall boots. Unless of course they are also riding Junior hunters and sweeping those divisions as well. What happened to moving up the levels? Rite of passage? Now its rich kids with rich parent trainers who sponser everything have a hand on every horse and win every class. Sure they are great riders, but it has been this way forever. Every couple years a new star kid backed by someone with a hand in everything, wins everything. Would be nice to see a nobody who does not have 10 horses get to win.
She recently started doing the horses as well and shifts back and forth between tall shoots and jods, but decided to go with tall boots that day because she felt more comfortable.
She also rides mainly sale horses, which is great for her riding, but has to realize that they are all for sale and very often must be sold. Always pluses and minuses.
Carsyn rides so well and can take on greens horses ponies everything she’s an amazing rider and I love watching her ride and her journey love you Carsyn hope (hope I spelled that right!)
