Dax has such an incredible voice..... I hope he is still creating and still singing wherever he may be nowadays. Dude has such stunning vibrato in his singing.
Unfortunately he hasn't put out anything new in over a decade, but hopefully one day...always holding out hope. Seems like ever since he got his song as the opening theme to the t.v. show iZombie he hasn't done anything. Maybe the royalties from that make him comfortable?
@@schlueterfarms123 yea probably so as long as he is healthy still. according to the acidbath archive channel he was still working at Church's chicken somewhere in Louisiana as recent as a year ago.
@@jansonbriggs3250 do you not understand how royalties work doesn't matter when the song was made The show uses it as it's opening theme song he gets paid every time.
Filling empty holes an echo in your soul of souls as the last wave rolls crashin' like a stone upon my skull Followin' the world in this pitch black sadness yeah, the cherry of your cigarette reflects in my eye just like madness, uh huh just like magic again just like madness again Verse: The moon above my head is like a halo and my skull is cool and slow uh, teach me how to bow my head now is it not blood's nature but to flow so here we go Chorus: Filling empty holes an echo in your soul of souls as the last wave rolls crashin' like a stone upon my skull oh, it was crashin like a stone upon my skull Outro: it was crashin like a stone upon my skull crashin like a stone upon my skull crashin like a stone upon my skull crashin x10: crashin like a stone upon my skull crashin x3: it was crashin crashin x5: alright it was crashin like a stone upon my skull
Is there an official release of this anywhere? I downloaded this on some illicit file sharing site in the early 00's and I've never been able to find a legit source. I'm also still waiting for the Deadboy and the Elephantmen shirt I ordered from Fat Possum back then.
No, it was sadly only a live song he'd do. Wish it was on record but this videos version is basically as close to record as you can get mixing and quality wise i guess.
I used to be a HUGE Dax fan. (still am) but I had to move on to more positive music for my mental health but I have to say...... I will always have a special place in my heart for him and his music. Especially this and strangers to reason.... And the hangmans gaughter
this isn't the same track used on the live performances on the download link. but still some good live recordings. thanks for postings. much appreciated.
