@@UgsOfLorian Yeah that Gene/VS deck is fine i guess…..not much synergy between those two except maybe the attributes help. It’s basically just two different archetypes meshed together. I could hit diamond with it but that’s the extent of the time I put in. I don’t think master would be achievable without much interruptions & negates.I am modifying it to fit my playstyle though. Yes I have seen some of your horus one’s. Loved those videos. Anyways brother, keep doing your shit with the videos & keep growing your channel. Good luck to you.

@@UgsOfLorian Yeah, only working with Harr, Mardel, Vala & Loptr. I’m tinkering with it here and there adding some board breaking cards like Evenly, Nib, Super Poly (for Starving Venom since there’s this Yubel meta running). Gene with VS is a brick fest sometimes. Yeah your horus videos helps. Got to know some cards that I didn’t know about. Will mix & match to my playstyle.

Almost any added engine will be better than pure Gene right now. Drawbacks are that you will brick on the boss monsters, ash, and it is difficult to play. Your success depends a lot on knowing the deck (and opposing decks) really well and making the best decision. For strengths, you have answers for almost any situation, great outplay potential, tools that many decks wish they had, tons of removal, battle power, varied combo lines, intricate interactions every turn, and so on. I'm scratching the surface here. I'm not sure how to compare it to FKSE and Yubel, but I'll say it's extremely rewarding to play well with it and had a 65% WR this season. About the Yubel part, you're playing Yubel to support Genes (which I point out in the deck list vid), not fiend link spam. You're playing a different way, not a worse version of the meta deck. You could try to get Master with your current decks and then learn the Raiders when you get there for upcoming seasons, but it's up to you, there is a lot to consider.

Yep, it's still good and will be for a while. You might have to make small adjustments of staples based on what you come across or meta shifts.

B.O.A.F Hey! You could play either. Different play styles but fairly equal. I'd say, Horus can be a bit easier to manage and play.

@@LONEWOLF-fs7ir Of course brother! It depends on your in-game income, TBH. It's probably not super worth to have both engines if your main focus is Gene and limited on gems/CP. They are very good on their own and in other decks in case you want to branch out. Both engines will stay relevant for a while, and it's fine to pull for Yubel later. Just check in case there is a new Gene variant you'd want to try.

Hey! Yeah, I run 1 Nib because I'd rather have one than none, and Maxx "C" exists, so it comes up. You could swap it out for anything you might prefer. Nidhogg is severely underrated and stops a lot of strats single-handedly. There is also Yubel in the meta. Even fire decks use dark monsters. I do have SV as optional in my deck list video, but it's been useful so far. I don't run Ty-Phon because Harr is 3k and Loptr makes almost every Gene pass 3k atk during oppos turn. I'm glad you liked it. You could try it with your suggestions and lmk how it goes!

Hey, you have a few avenues. With the 4 extra slots, you could just use any staple cards. When Fuwaross comes, that'll be an option too. You could add a DBB or an Unchained package or play the reduced version with 3 Thrones and the 2 Yubels.

Hey Hey, yeah the gameplay for these will be later. The RDA engine is pretty much a bait, your opponent is expecting to see RDA lines come out, but you are sending Rainbow Bridge to get access to Boss Stage. It's sneaky. You also have a lot of bounce back if you encounter hand traps, and many of the tech cards support both sides. You have a lot of ways to start a play, and a few of these end in multiple advantages. Red Reign with HRDAA make Gene monsters unaffected by other cards as they're all level 9. Oh, yeah it would, but you have ways around that. At draw phase summon Loptr, during your main phase the opponent can make a play (say ash and poplar are now on the field), then you could use Red Reign which will banish whatever they have and chain Loptr to it. Your level 9s are now on the field and protected by Red Reign. Boss Stage triggers on a new chain to summon your tokens, bypassing the downside. If you have WLM you would do the same. If you wanted to you could also just use it as blanket protection, but you have to do it in order as Red Reign needs a level difference to attempt to banish, and any monster left will become unaffected (those can still be tributed for cost). Hahaha it's good to have a few avenues to play the Raiders, just in case. Thank you 😊

@@UgsOfLorian Boss stage is hard once per turn as I remember. If I spe Loptr during draw phase, I don't activate tokken invoc and keep it for M1 after chain red reign into Loptr effect.

Yep that's it. Save the token summon for after Loptr activates. Also avoids Nib M1.

Oh yeah I had it for a while as tech, back then it felt more of a brick, but it's better now. Soul exchange can summon it too!

Hey! I would highly advise against it. One kashtira Unicorn and your R9NK Gene is offline. I use Jorm as a play starter very often so having more copies helps. What you can do, is remove Garura and starving Venom and reduce super poly to 1 and use the space as you wish.

You could also run the small engine variant that I highlight in the deck list video and straight up remove all super poly fusions.

oh hahaha it was from that angle 🤣 😂. Sacred Tree beast, vw tiger, earth slicer are decent options for SR in the meantime. Number 92 with wonder xyz, hard to pull off but during the end phase, it banishes the oppo field.

Hey that's awesome. Yubel cards (and super poly) are in the shop right now. If you don't have the pieces of Horus, you're better off using this. If you have the Horus package or want to craft, I'd say start with Horus. Yubel can be tricky to manage resources to cycle Phantoms correctly to fuel your R9NKs. It's all up to you, whichever version gets you more hype, go for that.

With RUM Raid Force, any rank 9 monster becomes Ultimate Falcon. It's a complete lockdown on the opponent every turn you activate it's effect.

It's viable but there are other options too. Gene with Horus for instance which I showcased in other videos.

Hey thank you! I'd say they're fairly equal but maybe Horus has a slight edge as you will (almost) never need your normal. If anything, they have their own strengths and Yubel does WORK right now. The level 9 jump scare into WLM turns the tides so fast.

I run too much into stun or summon limit bs cards 🃏 😅so I tend to add lava gollum or sphere. Mikanko, umi water bs with like protection on monster n traps n spells and freaking labyrinth and lp burn decks was all I found on this event. I kid u not.. couldn’t pass level 16 always one off then repeat like for two days . I was about to do a lp burn deck 😂

Oh and kashtira . But that’s way easier than other decks I mentioned .

Trias is a awesome, can tribute Vala for imperm/veiler dodge too. Oh man the Xyz event was horrible. I made a shark xyz armor deck to have some fun fighting xyz decks but nah, on top of what you mentioned, snake eye was here. Loaded in the second phase, 4 games in a row lab stun I just signed off lol.

enjoy and xyz event shouldn't be in the same sentence lol. It doesnt seem to brick a lot since Yubel has one card starters and you can always make a Phantom if you had the monster bricks in hand. Yes, you would use Nightmare Throne first, do the combo you need, then Boss Stage. Yeah Phantom Fort is decent. It's has strong effects and banishes instead of destroying. You would use it T1 in the hand rip combo, but not as a stand-alone which you would with Laeva.

@@CodRedSea Anytime brother. Not in particular, if you make Phantom of Yubel in the main monster zone, you get a Gene and 3 tokens. If you use WLM on Phantom, Laeva goes in the EMZ. You trade 1 token for a monster negate and still have enough to use your Gene effects. If you have a bunch of Yubels, you can link them off to free up space.

But if he responded then you will eventually have to get rid of your field spell so its better to let him activate taia first then activate metaverse, chain zeus.

@@namvu7185 That would've been fine, I had 2 Zeus activations dooming the FS. I wanted them to play into Boss Stage early to add a Loptr. They could've chained HDC to MV Zeus.

Hey, different strengths and weaknesses. Maybe Horus has a slight edge overall because of the all the work it can do before you normal summon.

@@UgsOfLorian Oh ok. So, you already peeped it. Yeah, I was testing GR FK and forgot about the blow effect of the field spell and nuked my board. I won’t lie I stopped trying after that, but I barely had tried the deck at all. I think it could still potentially work..just maybe no FK field spell though that kills the flexibility and consistency some. Maybe you can make it work though. Good luck.

Oh yeah, that was the concern. I also didn't picture an identity for the deck. Kirin could pop Vala to dodge imperm but trias does the same. I did not fully explore the cards though, so it could be worthwhile. Cheers!
