I wish KH didn't went so downhill with making to many games and sideplots. Because I really like the idea, but the execution isn't what I've imagined. I could make an argument, but I prefer to enjoy the music.
Sitting up late at night alone in my room playing Kingdom Hearts is a memory I will hold close to my heart for the rest of my life. This game was the closest I ever felt to my dreams and imagination.
I got some things to look back on. My second crush. (Mish) She was a good person, I decided to confess to her at the worst time possible... when she was saying goodbye, she rejected me but in a way that just made me feel sad but not angry at her or have any hate towards her (not that I would have any hate towards her being true to me and herself). But it was weird, when she left she didn't completely leave. I would still play games with her and have fun and talk to her. A happy time that didn't last long enough. Then, she suddenly doubled down on her decision and with a few brief exchanges... she was gone. A few months passed and I got over her and decided to make myself a better version. I started working out again and doing skin care and praying all my 5 daily prayers. But then a new girl walked into my life (Rara). I told myself to not fall for her. Just be a friend. But nope, my heart had other ideas and she now lives in my heart. I didn't do the same thing I did with my second crush. With the help of some friends and 2 family members I decided to take a shot. And that shot was tonight (19/01/2024) I don't know if I'm in or not. My friends helping me told me they don't know if I'm fumbling or winning and I couldn't say it any better. I don't know if she likes me. I've made a lot of duas and now... I'm just hoping for the best.
Well, I fumbled. I don't to talk her anymore. I asked her out and at first she said yes but then I made a date and she said she was busy that day. I realize that I had a chance but I blew it, hard. She sometimes texted me first but as we got to know each other more she stopped texting first and it was just me talking to her and her talking to me. I miss it, I miss talking till 2am while playing a game with her. I'm currently moving on from her, it's gonna take maybe 2-3 weeks. I'm gonna stop looking for girls now and just focus on the present. My older brothers wedding is coming up and it's happening in a different country, I'll have to save up to go with him. I also need to get into better shape since we'll being A LOT of walking there. I think I'll study again but either late 2024 or early next year. I'll try and become a Software Security Engineer. Love computers, might start hating it at the end of this something year course. But, I'll at least have a profession and hopefully a job. I'm sad right now but nobody can see it since I'll be wearing my mask again. I realized something though, don't stop pushing forward even if you get pushed back beyond where you started. Don't lose, don't stop moving forward, don't give up me. Don't, if you do you'll be living in hell forever.
Wow, how things change within a week and a few days. I over think too much, I should slow down and stop thinking so far ahead and take life in a nice pace. Not too fast, not too slow. I still talk with her sorta, I want things to move forward if and when she's ready for stuff like that. I can wait and even if she doesn't choose me I won't feel like my time has been wasted, even if years go by when she decides to choose. I'm not studying this year, got to save up to pay for a flight to go to Umarah, 3.5k. I'll need to start saving as much as possible with my casual security job. Why do I write these at 12am or 1am. Eyes feel heavy and ready to sleep but I just type here. I think I'm going to start writing my novel down, been cooking this idea for quite some time now and I want to share it with the world even if the world doesn't see it. Yes, it's a self input of me since I wrote the characters to be drawn in by my stupid self. Honestly I wish I just got a sign again, I wish I didn't do those things, I wish I... I wish for a lot of things but now I'm wishing for 3 things. I go to heaven, my parents go to heaven, and the girl I, well, I used to like but still like but not pushing it, I wish she goes to heaven too.
Me and my brother would escape our cruel world to this game. We have lost so many on the way to where we are now. When I play this I feel as though they are here with me… guiding me to a new home

Kingdom Hearts is such a beautiful game. I'm 13 years old, and not many people my age know the game at all. I mean it is 20 years old. But my older sister introduced it to me and she passed the playstation2 down and now I have it. It's such a beautiful console. People make fun of me saying its old and the ps4 or 5 is better and the games on the ps2 are low quality. But i don't care at all. I don't care what they think. Even if it's 2023, I will always continue liking older content such as Kingdom Hearts, Vocaloid, Edd, ed and eddy, etc. May your heart be your guiding key!
This is so wholesome, i'm 22 and i played kingdom hearts thanks to my friend who borrowed it to me on nintendo ds around your age. For me personally time has frozen a bit since my mid teens so seeing you say you're playing this game currently made me subconsciously think "hey, someone else my age who plays kingdom hearts" but then the realization that im no longer that age, that i am turning 23 and a decade has passed since then brought me back to this unfortunate reality😭But it makes me happy that even tho time really has progressed and that i am not in my mid teens, at the very least this new era of teens are also enjoying things i enjoyed when i was a teen instead of being a product of their era. It makes me feel like the things i have experienced were worthwhile and timeless since a decade later, a teenager can still enjoy it.
I AGREE! As someone with older consoles like the GBA SP, Gamecube, Gameboy, and XBox 360, I can agree with you. Older games steal my heart! Games such as EarthBound Zero, EarthBound, MOTHER3, Pikmin, PaRappa 1 & 2 stole my heart. These games deserve more fans.

This just brought me back to 2006. My older brother just bought Kingdom Hearts 2. I was about to experience what would become my favorite game of all time. Nostalgia and reminiscing is dangerously sad, but incredibly beautiful at the same time.
I like how it feels like this is being played in an empty, quiet space, like a closed mall. Imagine Sora or someone else finds themselves in an oniric place, a world within themselves or something like that, with this song as the background. As they move around, the music shifts as if it was coming from somewhere. After exploring a little bit, they find a music box playing this lullaby. Perhaps accompanied by an NPC that offers some introspective comment on the characters and tells them about the importance of growing up, or something.
