If your render takes longer than 30 seconds for a single frame, don't bother with fur, you can achieve the same effects with material modifiers!

I did all this but the flame just isn't coming out. I get some cloudy flame like thing... and when I try to move the domain, it down't move at all... same for resizing it.

Important! this tutorial works great as of typing this. however it took me many trys and fails before i realized my render settings were completely screwed which is why it was i couldn't do it even though i followed instructions exactly. If you're having the same problem I suggest going to the defaults under your file tab and restoring factory settings.This will undo your customizations to your startup file but if you want fire this is what you have to do , especially if you follow a lot of tutorials and your settings gets switched around a lot .
