I know this is an old vid but can you name that tool you used with the wrench to remove the bolts. Murk mulder zoo is the brand? But what's the name of the tool? Thanks
@@BushidoPhoto thank you and no more STi content? I guess there is only so much one can do. Planning to do this for my WRX ..unknown parts are different but I wanted to make sure I had the right tools
Congrats on reuniting with the Rick. It’s a very specific sound. Nice 6120 back there as well. I got my brother a wider necked fireglo 1993Plus and orange stain 5420T somewhat resembling your thoughts. Rickysounds sells a nut with wider string spacing if it interests you.
It was purchased from Denny Manufacturing. It’s their wrinkle free material in a solid cyan or medium light blue color. I looked at their site and couldn’t find it, but that’s where I purchased it. The size is 10x20’.
You only need to take the wheels off once a year to spray them. You could cover your brake rotor with plastic bags and spray the wheels on the car if you want.
Not sure why, but you can’t buy this product anymore. There are some people selling what they have left at highly inflated prices, but the retail price at around $10 per can can’t be found anymore.
Quick update. I ended up taking all of the fittings off and used the permatex white thread sealant and sealed each connection, including the thermostat and AN fittings. No leaks now 100%.
This is the sealant I used on the external fittings, not inside the oil filter part. www.permatex.com/products/thread-compounds/thread-sealants/permatex-thread-sealant-with-ptfe-4-oz/
@BushidoPhoto oh wow that's next coilovers too. But I'm thinking of putting hyperco coils on 🤷♂️ idk. Last question is your csf radiator, I just want to know which version did u chose? I notice there is a couple of versions. Competition, time attack, and high performance. Which one did u get?
Awesome! I went with this one. www.rallysportdirect.com/products/7095-csf-competition-race-spec-aluminum-radiator?gclid=CjwKCAjwlJimBhAsEiwA1hrp5tHFX7fAeHog3n4reH9M4bh2c_2oG6UaEZDifFuLiU5c-Tq9KrrVwhoCJusQAvD_BwE
Hey Brother! Tackling this DSS carbon Fiber shaft on my 06 STI on Wednesday! Right down the road from you. So I can get these nuts and bolts at Home Depot? Thanks!
Logan, yes. Make sure they are grade 8 and buy nuts too. If HD doesn’t have them, try Lowe’s. If you want to come to my garage I can help you. I’m in Round Rock.
Dude that would be awesome! The shaft comes in Tomorrow. I got the car all apart in my garage, the ETS front mount just shipped. So Im just waiting on that while I have it all all apart. Did the roll center kit, and front sway bar. Also tackled the Chase bays Power steering kit. I signed up on that link you sent me on your other video. I’ll be at the Autocross at COTA April 9th! Maybe see you at the detail garage meet before hand. Thank you sir!
Hi, I have a Fuji XS-10 and I'm thinking of buying the Laowa 65 2X. Can you tell me which model of Flash do you use? I really liked your configuration. Greetings from Spain
I have a 2022 wrx and ordered the f-spec....if want go 1" lower front and rear what is mm distance I need? its 15" factory center wheel to wheel well front and back according to F Fab.
You’ll want to install them, measure how much lower you want the car and then use the math to determine how much to adjust the coilovers. The math will prevent you from having to raise and lower the car multiple times. I hope that helps.
I have the F-spec on my 19 sti at max height the back will always sag more because the shock is smaller so my front looks higher so I’m gonna drop the from an inch really only need to know the mm once there on the car there easy to lower or raise just loosen the bottom ring up measure in between that
Hello. First of all, thanks for the video content. If you had to choose between the Fujifilm 80mm 2.8 and the laowa 65mm 2.8, which would you buy? Aut focus is not very important. Only the photo quality and the usefulness of the lens are important.
Mehmet, you’re welcome and thanks for watching! If you need autofocus, get the FujiFilm. If you are serious about Macro, get the Laowa. It has twice the magnification to get close to things like ants or other insects. If you don’t plan on shooting things that small, the Funifilm lens will likely be fine. I highly recommend the laowa lens though. It’s really really great!
Logan, nice! I know exactly where that’s at. I started racing back in 2003 in Germany and have been doing autocross for 2 years now. I’m a member of Spokes.org in case you want to come out and have some fun. You should go to the next Cars and Coffee at the RR Detail Garage.
@@Logan-yu9og Go to the detail garage website and you can sign up for text messages to know when the next meetup is or just follow them. www.detailgarage.com/tx_round_rock.html
I'm thinking about sanding my squire logo off and replacing it. What type of sand paper and did you just sand the logo side or the whole front of the headstock?
Thanks! I can see how it might come loose a bit every time you swap out the oil filter. Based on your vid, I went ahead and used thread locker when I installed mine yesterday.
