Is it advances in CNC technology/design that we're able to do this now? Like we weren't making these before (even if it was hand made) because we didn't know this was a better design? I feel like CFD and such is more important than CNC here.
The surface-piercing 5-Blade CNC Cleaver propeller is designed to maximize top-end speed on performance hulls powered by Mercury Racing outboards equipped with the Sport Master or R-Drive Sport gear case. There are many differences when comparing the Mercury 300hp ProXS and the Mercury Racing 300R. The tuning of the engine, the components used to build the powerhead, a selection of optional midsections and gearcases, as well as the rear tie-bar configuration only briefly detail what sets the 300R engine apart from those of our mainline manufacturing offering. Mercury service technicians are hired and employed by our privately owned and operated dealers in the field. We encourage you to use our dealer locator to find authorized dealers in your area, and then speak to them about the opportunities each has available. The Mercury Racing 60R is designed specifically for technical flats skiffs to deliver performance with outstanding fuel economy, rugged durability and quiet operation.
I bought a 20 hp mercury and sold my old johnson motor, the mercury just had more power even for 20 hp. The design cypher on the back of the boat off of tge old flags was part of an engine also, i didnt realise they had aft burners in mesoptamia but i guess so. 😉
All the boats featured in this video will attract the wrong kind of beautiful women. If only I was a useless party boy heir to a fortune - sign me up 😂
Yes, but does it have automatically adjusted hydrocoptic marzal vanes in the supercharger section? Because without them, you'd need to add an antihydratic disenfranchilator ahead of the pressure-sensitive bypass trivalves. The instantaneous hydrolastic overpressure of the inlet manifold ducting would be horrendous!
Not to mention that the transversely mounted gyro buffer injector stators for the clenching valves at the back of the cooling coils for the circuit breaker manifold gasket tightening ratchet cross member with the same bolt plug will have to be replaced at least every sixth month.
@markwoodbury2653 every 6th month only if the anti-hydrostatic balance pulley is a few 10,000th ounce of balance. If you keep the air lubricator fluid reserve tank full of race grade lubricitor fluid, and the fuel ionizer negatively charged (positive charge leads to more carbon buildup and detonation), the gyro buffer injector stator will last at least 7 or 8 months...
I lived on the river from 1970 till 89. Next door to the old Wimpys hamburger joint sure do miss it. I watched all these races from my dock. The good old days. 👍🏻
Mercer is definitely avoiding the small working class boater. Everything in this ad starts @ over a million dollars. Great if you are a mega millions or a Power ball winner. Other than that, NOBODY can afford it
mystery shit. sad but true. i'm a small boat person. it looks crazy cool. there to heavy! it's not going on new 24ft checkmate with no pad! ha dead on arrival. there are people craving small motors.
@@rinzlerprime3372 Depends on what inboard of course. I have an old tri-hull with a tuned up "iron duke" 4 cyl in it. Its basically the same motor as the old Northrop mail trucks you're use to seeing in the USA. They put those in a ton of GM vehicles too. The marine version is rated for 130 HP.
Reaching out for your help please, I've been trying to find videos of any races of the MOD VP races from 1983 to 1991 as my brother raced those years! Our family owned marine business for many many years! We had Mercury and of course that's what my brother raced! Would love to hear from you! Thanks🥰
Nice explanation. Took a set of props to my local prop shop here and lost 6 mph! It’s hard to find someone who knows how to work a propeller and not just make it shiny.
