You take the time to install warm floors in houses, why can't you take the same time to install a warm floor in the pool area and around the pool as well? this way you could swim year round
Are these new schools, or rebuilding with the Nudura & solar. I am not part of a school but Woodland School District, here in Woodland, CA are wanting to jack our taxes up to fix old buildings. With the sun we get this would be great.
hello, we ask permission to use the footage in this video as part of a collection of construction technologies that we have summarized, the source of the video we include in the video ( Channel Rumah Em )
More like for elevators; inside has exposed concrete. Icf can be used below or above grade interior traditional stuff on top of Styrofoam dry wall, stucko Exterior traditional stuff on top of Styrofoam brick, stucko, vinyl w.e
Terrible video. No information about the products. And after all this time, I noticed that the questions are still available!! Perhaps you need a sales rep?
Very interesting! I do believe I'll build my retirement house AND shop via ICF but I was wondering if my pool could also be built with ICF as well. Instead of vinyl, could gunite be used? Will it stick to foam or might it need stripped from the water side or something?
This a fixture, not a jig. A jig is often confused with a fixture. A fixture holds the work in a fixed location. A device that does both functions (holding the work and guiding a tool) is called a jig.
What is the pool size? What is the thickness of the concrete base? Considering this is not an RCC pool, how long can I expect this to last? Rebars are relatively cheap so I am confused as to why they weren't used.
I want to build a new shop. What would it cost for a 40' x 60' x 12' high building with (2) 16' x 10' overhead door openings and (1) 36" walking door? Shipping included to the Tampa Bay area?? Also, are you working on any type of roofing structures?
Why negative votes? I'm looking to build an ICF home and actually like this option over the T-blocks. Seems more efficient and easier with having to place two walls near each other.
Kipring Payne if you choose ICF, have a contractor that specializes in them and let them use a brand they’re comfortable with. I built a 5500 sq foundation with Nudura, after attending their class, becoming certified to install them, stacking the system as outlined in their binder, having it inspected by them, and the product failed in four locations. One location was my fault, I didn’t buck out the door opening and the concretes crippled the form boards in that location. The other three were blowouts in the middle of a full block; a product failure. Nudura has never returned phone calls or emails since their initial inspection. I have 11 t-walls utilizing the t blocks, I over built everyone of them above what the binder recommended and they did great. We used #5 bar at every course, the rod was bent to turn through t locations rather than butting them at the intersecting point. We used extra web clips for all the sides of the t wall top and bottom, and heavy gauge zip ties and rebar tie wire to hold the rod in the web stiffeners. The day of the pour, we used 156 yards of concrete, a pumper truck, and 9 guys, most of them well seasoned in traditional poured walls, and a rep from Nudura as the team lead to ensure it went smoothly. My recommendation would be to use a licensed and insured vendor for the icf portion of your build, regardless of icf brand. I wish I would have.
