Hi Ive got a electric water pump on a bmw that is coming on at night and odd times and flattening the battery even with the ignition turned off. I think it can only be the ECU because that is what switches the pump on and off is that correct.
Good morning. in a twin-cylinder engine, looking at the CKP x primary/secondary of the coil, each cylinder shows a different timing value, each with a different tooth on the ignition pulses, for example: at idle, the ignition firing of cylinder 1 FRONT) appears on the 13th tooth (the TDC mark is on the eighth tooth of the rotor) and the ignition firing of cylinder 2 (REAR) appears on the eighth tooth (the TDC mark for cylinder 2 is on the second tooth of the rotor), with the ignition point of 5° (BTDC) in the workshop manual, what generates this difference in readings on the oscilloscope?
Is the pulse sinal sent in hertz,volts or how ? Can i test the signal with a multi meter to make sure im get signal to the connection? Its a 22 toyota with a 4 wire connection, 2 are very small .
Getting a PO1406 code? Read further...I'm not after making money...just to help you out. This "code" comes up because the "sensor" - potentiometer - is not giving a clean signal - read as a variable 5 volt signal to your ECM. Most likely...it has become DIRTY on the inside because of the intended not to be serviceable design. You could drill a hole thru the plastic housing of potentiometer and spray a lubricant cleaner (Detox Tuner cleaner)..that will clean the resistive surface...allowing the movable wiper to properly read resistance for pintle position. You have to drill a hole on top of EGR valve plastic housing. Use common sense and you'll figure it out. DO NOT USE RAW CONTACT CLEANER...it must hace a lubricant to prevent further wear. 👍
The silver colored one is actually an accumulator with a dryer. The black one you show is an actual receiver dryer. It has a sight glass on top so you can see the liquid, what is supposed to be pure liquid, flowing thru it. I know people interchange these terms a lot but technically that's what you call the different examples you show.
So does the swash plate angle increase by modulating low pressure (suction/pump inlet) side vacuum by delivering a slight pressure differential to the ac compressor case via the pwm control valve verse the inlet pressure??, causing the swash plate angle to increase and work against the swash plate neutrality spring?.. there is no info out there on how this process of swash plate modulation is achieved. Please do more research before compiling a so called educational video. You skipped over the heart of its operation.

Before teaching people try to teach yourself because you are teaching people wrongly, A high voltage signal indicates an imbalance in the air-fuel ratio - a low oxygen concentration in the exhaust gas (and an excess of fuel running through the engine) that means it is a rich condition not the lean condition, thanks
In simple terms this is just one of the sensors that stops you from using your vehicle because it isn't functioning properly & the lack of voltage to your vehicles computer map say's hey there's something wrong ... Now of course many years ago your vehicle didn't have these unnecessary sensors because your vehicle just had the basic sensors that it needed to run the low oil pressure & temperature gauge.. But the mechanic's needed work so it was decided to put the same amount of sensors in you vehicles engine as a satellite has orbiting the earth . So there's really nothing wrong with you engine no not at all . The sensor put into the engine is the issue & it screwed you over big time didn't it .. but hey the repair shop thanks you for your couple of thousand dollars donation to their weekly Beer & BBQ Cheers with Beers 🍻. You are telling us something that is incorrect. First you show 6 crank teeth and when supposedly the chain was stretched you show 3 teeth. THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE The number of teeth per camsignal must stay the same else it would mean the crankshaft slowed down. A stretched belt will show up as a PHASE SHIFT between cam and cranksignal not a changing number of teeth.
I just bought my Bmw 750 i 2016 few days ago and it got the problem of coolant leaking , as my car is in warranty so they are fixing it but can you recommend me that should i keep the car or not , what would you say??
rig up some random headlights ?...that i just have sitting around to just do the test? this is way too complicated. testing procedure setup is too time consuming. how many people have random spare headlights sitting around their garage. maybe we can go to junkyard buy some for $30 which is the same as o2 sensor.
How do you restore vacuum to the stupid reserve box so it won't switch from vent to defrost when driving. I disconnected the box once and I heard it loose the vacuum but since it will not regain and hold a vacuum.
