I am Puerto Rican and lived off beans for most of the time I was with my mom. She never cooked black beans. I'm use to making my black beans from the can with the ingredients you use but I am now purchasing black beans in bags. Thank you for your wonderful presentation and your tips!!!!

Thank God I’m not this anal! 😂 I want mine just clean enough that it won’t catch on fire! I’m not about to purchase steam cleaner to do this. Oh, well on the next video. I put my Cusinart metal basket and the tray in the dishwasher all the time. It works wonders!

If you can’t find that particular brand of mojo marinade there are several others that are also excellent. I have used Goya, Badia and Iberia which all have incredible tangy citrus and seasonings
I know this vid is 3 YEARS old but THANK YOU! I have had a Kalorik for 3 years (love it) and though I keep the accessories clean, have never cleaned the walls (and, boy, do they need it!) The manual and site say to clean with warm soapy water and a sponge or cloth, but NOT how to deep clean to get off baked-on grease (thanks a lot Kalorik). I knew oven cleaner spray would be a bad idea due to the exposed element but didn't want to waste $ on multiple cleaners that didn't work. From the commenters that have tried your method it appears to work great! Finally going to get this baby cleaned up. So tired of looking at gross brown walls. Ick. Thanks again!
Thanks for inspireing me to look at my 3 month old hysapienta which is very scimilar to yours .Idont have a steam cleanner ,so i will put some boiled water in and turn the oven on for a few minutes .How often do you sugest we do this
Never put sugar in my beans before. I have to thank you for your very informative video. And most importantly an incredible bean recipe! These are absolutely Devine!!!! I've done recipes with many more ingredients that don't taste this good. Thank you!! I've made two batches today 😅
I have a 6 quart and made some spaghetti and it came out perfect but today I got the burn signal and I had to unplug it cuz it would go off and I had burnt hamburger meat on the bottom so I dumped the spaghetti in a big pan and cleaned it and I put it back in there and it got too done and I got the burn signal AGAIN! So I just cooked the rest of it in a skillet but I think the pasta got too done. I don't get why I've never got the burn signal before. The first time it came out perfect. I am so disappointed.
Do you happen to have a recipe for air fryer fried chicken? Also, when doing a whole chicken on a rack, what is the biggest you can fit in there? Thanks
Hi. I have a great recipe for fried chicken. If you search under youtube my name and southern fried chicken it will come up. Also the biggest you can do is 4 lbs.
Doesnt need cleaning, its kept at high enough temp to kill bacteria. Things will eventually burn to a crisp and fall off posssibly. Its just carbon mate. Using chemicals are poison. I would avoid using this in a oven/air fryer.
