Hello Alex. My iron decided to not switch on, whatsoever. I've tried changing power sockets, changing fuses in the plug, to no avail. I've opened up the boiler unit(forgetting to unscrew screw #5, so it went SNAP! when I forced it off, but no matter!). What I've noticed is that there appears to be water droplets on the surface of the silver resevoir. Is this indicative of a leak somewhere?
@berniethekiwidragon4382 I would think if there's water inside it's probably blown a fuse to protect you from getting a shock. Sometimes the pipe fixings on the tank leak, not much you can do I'm afraid
Hi Alex! Thanks for the review. Do you still use that helmet? If yes, what is your opinion now, is it still functioning well? How about durability of the materials? I like the design of this helmet, but based on the comments and reviews I might choose an other option, probably a bit more expensive.
@pogozoli I still use it mostly as an open face. It is noisy but you should be using ear protection anyway. Riding a bike is bad for your ears the hearing doctor tells me
I have a weird problem where the iron producing steam when held vertically and not producing steam when held horizontally. I'm wondering if is a tilt sensor inside the iron that malfunctioning? The steam burst works on each position...
Many thanks for an excellent video. I've always been apprehensive when it comes to irons (and microwaves) but I can see now that it really isn't that difficult. I was really surprised with how much dust there was inside it.
Pur iron has stopped releasing steam. I belive it to be this solenoid valve. Can I replace just the black part or will have to replace the brass valve part too?
Thank you for this informational video. ❤ I work with a teenager with this syndrome and there is so little information about cri du chat. She talks, walks and is so full of joy. 😊❤ I love working with her and this video makes me understand her condition better.
Great guide and instructions. I dismantled the valve and found it blocked by limescale. Spent a while scraping it out, but when tightening the nut that holds the valve in place, it ripped the valve off the pressure tank. I expect that's a write off. Shame as it would have been the 2nd repair following Alex's videos.
Wow jake u know more about cars then i do. Alex you and jake are an inspiration and as a father with a toddler with cribdu chat i would like to ask if we could set up a call to get any tips ad help you could give me to help my boy
Alex, my name is Alan. My boy is 2 years old and has cri du chat. I assume Jake is mosaic whilst my boy is not but would love to talk to u for hints, tips and help

You think like me. I got the 52 with bagger. And I'm now watching videos to get approval for my purchase. But I'm still wondering how many times I need to empty it while cutting grass on a .75 acres lawn? I guess I'll find out soon enough, eh? LOL
Hi I installed my sanifloor 3, same as yours one year ago and have had only one problem. On day 3 of using it. I have a low level tray, and it overflowed due to the mesh on the chrome waste being bunged up with hair. It taught me to clean it every other day. I also keep it attached to the chrome top, take it to the sink, pull the mesh off clean it reattach to the chrome top and refit to shower. Other than that it has been superb. One question though, when I installed it I read that the sensor in the waste needed to be changed every year but your service engineer has dispelled that theory saying it should last for five years. Thats great but I did look on the internet for the part but it doesn't seem if anyone sells it. Will have to call saniflo !!!
Yes, you should only need to change it when the battery fails. Make sure you take the little cage off the bottom and clean inside the sensor unit. Make sure you note which way up the magnet goes as you take it out
@@alexcoker5816 spindle seems to go into some kind of nylon bush dunno if there's a bearing I've turned it upside down and spun it using a drill and its freed up quite a bit.
Hello. My iron is constantly steaming. Any ideas as to why, I've descaled it but it's just steaming constantly. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated
I'd either the button on the handle has failed in the on position or the steam solenoid has failed. Sorry not much help. If it's still in warranty phone and ask for a new one
But in the long-term its got to be better. I haven't bought any petrol for nearly 2yrs and the solar system is helping keeping me off the grid. No rotten decks, repairs and servicing virtually zero.
@@alexcoker5816 Sounds good, I came across your video because I was looking at the EGO blower and now looking at the mower as a back up to my petrol one. I like the idea of less noise. Problem I see is the price of the batteries.
This is one of the reasons why I prefer a clamping solution for my home-made smokers, in which the heating resistor wires are simply clamped and can be easily released so that the resistor can be easily replaced.
You have been very helpful i had the same issue where people say you epoxy it on but then not showing it at all and i have the magnets with the clips aswell and this video has been the biggest help my next problem is i will have to drill the rotor/brake disc in place as the bolts holding it on have been rounded and rusted in place 10/10 very helpful
Overpriced helmet..Wind noise is horrible. The material feels cheap. The ventilation is awful. The padding doesnt match with the price tag..The only thing that is good is the design n shape. That is the main selling point of this helmet. If im on long distance ride i wont choose this instead ill go with my Shoei Gt Air 2.Less fatigue
