There is nothing impressive about beating a Semi in a tug of war if it doesn't have weight on its back. Its axis needs it for traction. That red chevy is dope, but put some weight on that semi and it be pulling it all over the lot.
I pull 105,500 with my semi. I would barely even feel that pickup trying to pull hooked up to the back of my set. It So would that semi in the video. It's about traction.
Level the tow rope! the truck with the highest tie point will always have the advantage, because it will take on some of the weight of the truck with the lower tie point, giving it more traction. As a rule, 4X4 trucks have so much torque, that traction, rather than engine power, is the limiting factor. The only way to make it fair, is to make sure both trucks are ballasted to equal weight, with the same tie point heights.
