Hello :) i was trying to bring the motion capture from your last Video: (Real-Time Motion Capture with a Cheap Webcam (or iPhone): TDPT - Unreal Engine 5 Tutorial) to the newes version of UE5 and bevor to UE5.3 it doesnt worked. the newes version just dont show the mop reciver plug in. Thats really sad because i like the new meta humans more and i wanted to use all of it in a lv i had created. I will now try to downgrade everything. All in all i have to say im a bit disapointed (not in you in general) Im a total beginner and i just want to start making movies, but its just so coplicate and it seems there is no good solution that is cheap. I have to say this version you present in this video actually doesnt look good, the metahuman looks strange and unnatural and shifts in the ground. The three D pose tracker from your last video looks promiseing, because i think it is because the cam is limiting the data for processing. To sad it doesnt fit in UE5.4. It is kinda strange that there is no good easy way to go with low effort. I dont get this. thx anyway let get back to work and downgrade everything ^^
Can you make a video in that you create a sceen with motion capture at a metahuman. Record this, change what you have recorded with a control rig and turn it in an animation that can be changed with a rig? Thank you very much

Hello my friend, thank you for your kind words! Yeah, the Rococo set is quite expensive, plus there will be monthly Rokoko Studio subscription. A good alternative you might want to check out is Move ai and LiveLink. If you have an iPhone, you can easily do facial capture with LiveLink. Move ai is a more affordable option for body capture. You can combine LiveLink and Move ai in Unreal Engine. Greetings to Mexico 👋
I think it could work perfect if you unscrew the part where your phone is hold, and screw it into a bicycle helment with a counter balance at the back it shouldnt be more than 30usd to do it
Good idea, thanks for the suggestion! Bike helmets aren't that comfy for me. With a couple of tweaks this neck phone holder could be way more comfortable and safe

Okay I fixed the compiling error. I had to rename the folder with the dollars metahuman. The zips didn't have the folder name Dollars_MetaHuman so I made it. But I dodn't capitalize the H. I changed that and now I no longer have compile errors.
Hey! thank you for this video, it's been really useful for some projects. But I realized that the head is not tracked. I mean, the tracker does it but the MetaHuman doesn't seem to recieve that info. I'm not able to identify if in your case it's the same or not. Are you having the same issue or is something that only happened to me?
wehen i put the folders into my project folder and i open the project they are not visibable... the programm is working but i cant find the folders in the content browser

Is it possible to capture movement like playing guitar hanging on the strap? I mean when you're not 'playing' an invisible guitar, but really do precise movenets with your both hands and then add a 3d guitar into the scene?
It's good at tracking finger movements, as long as your webcam can see every finger. I'm not sure how well it would perform for activities like playing a guitar there could be potential problems.

Yes, you can. Start by setting up a body mocap, then move on to a standard live link setup. If you want to get better performance for the body and head, just turn off the 'head rotation' option in the live link settings.
Can you make a video about it? I think Dollars' face mocap performance is lower than livelink. Body mocap with dollars and face mocap. It will be much healthier to do it with Livelink.
