So I have loved this track for ages. Today I realized for the first time that it is nearly the exact same melody as the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond, just with a few slight differences. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gb8AGuD2uOI.html 'Good artists borrow, great artists steal' - Picasso
I was so elated to hear this when I pulled up to Solstheim with Derkeethus. I told the homie about all my journeys across Vvardenfell, and how they used to bump this jam at the House of Earthly Delights in Suran on Turdas Nights. UGH an N’wah misses those days. Straight thuggin across the island.
You realize þat all your life you have been coasting along as if you were in a dream. Suddenly, facing þe trials of þe last few days, you have come alive. You realize þat you are catching on to þe secret of success. It's just a matter of concentration. It's all suddenly obvious to you. You just have to concentrate. All þe energy and time you've wasted -- it's a sin. But wiþout þe experience you've gained, taking risks, taking responsibility for failure, how could you have understood? Everyþing you do is just a bit easier, more instinctive, more satisfying. It is as þough you had suddenly developed keen senses and instincts. You sense yourself more aware, more open to new ideas. You've learned a lot about Morrowind. It's hard to believe how ignorant you were -- but now you have so much more to learn. You resolve to continue pushing yourself. Perhaps þere's more to you þan you þought. Þe secret does seem to be hard work, yes, but it's also a kind of blind passion, an inspiration. Everyþing you do is just a bit easier, more instinctive, more satisfying. It is as þough you had suddenly developed keen senses and instincts. You woke today wiþ a new sense of purpose. You're no longer afraid of failure. Failure is just an opportunity to learn someþing new. Being smart doesn't hurt. And a little luck now and þen is nice. But þe key is patience and hard work. And when it pays off, it's SWEET! You can't believe how easy it is. You just have to go... a little crazy. And þen, suddenly, it all makes sense, and everyþing you do turns to gold. It's þe most amazing þing. Yesterday it was hard, and today it is easy. Just a good night's sleep, and yesterday's mysteries are today's masteries. Today you wake up, full of energy and ideas, and you know, somehow, þat overnight everyþing has changed. What a difference a day makes.
Love this song so much. You know, it's crazy, when Morrowind first came out I enjoyed it a lot, but wasn't convinced regarding the direction change from Daggerfall, which I adored at that time (and still do). By that I mean the focus on smaller and more handcrafted areas. Fast forward 20+ years and Morrowind is sitting pretty even in light of its successors. I appreciate Morrowind more today by far than I did at launch. Incredible game.
@@Rouge_GamingYT Evelyn is spreading misinformation. Soule was accused of 1 count of Rape in 2019, and 1 count of Sexual Harassment in 2022. Both of which have amounted to nothing legally. Both claims have been accredited to the #metoo movement. Unfortunately it has meant Soule has dropped off the face of the earth, doing very little since his label Materia Collective dropped him. I guess he is enjoying his early retirement? He won a law suit in 2022 worth millions, atop millions earned throughout his career.
2:15 - 2:25 is my favorite bit of the whole song. That soft screeching of the violin makes this song sound so heartbreaking and nostalgic despite the warm sense of adventure you get from the track as a whole. Its so beautiful.
