OMG..... DO NOT DO THIS!!!! I've worked in the cable industry for over 20 years. Doing this will back feed so much noise that it will kill the entire node.

I think you should check out this video on how to make a submersible water pump. It’s a powerful water pump with a waterproof seal and spring seals. It’s a bit of a project, but the end result is an excellent water pump. The video has a full tutorial, and the results are really impressive.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👀
How much clearance does the fan/blades/propellers need from the housing - between both sides (where the drill and water intake are) as well as between the edge of the blades and the circular housing? I want to attempt this project but I am a novice and would like to limit the frustration I’ll inevitably encounter. So just thinking (without any knowledge base) I’m wondering how the space around the blades would effect the efficiency or pressure-for example - would too much space allow excessive water intake; would too little space restrict water flow? And is there some standard ratio or guideline to follow??
