You have come to the Shark Side of MTG Arena. We are showcasing decks and playing them in Ranked games in the fires of the Arena. We post a new video every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 3 pm Pacific. We're hoping to help our friends rank up and reap the rewards of moving up the ladder.
Hey Shark, Thanks again for the plug. I posted a couple more for your review. I even have another Magda deck brewing right now for Part 3! Looking forward to more from you. Nice voice upgrade!
My friend, that was something I considered but wanted to demonstrate how the deck can lock out an opponent. Clearly, if you're playing the deck and not making a video to promote the deck, just poison them with Vraska and end the game. Get 'em good!
nice that deck was way more powerful than yours but the massive permanent loss from the devastator fight combo allowed you to close the distance nicely. Still surprising that Deck was still almost able to come back from that not sure why he sacked the Atroxa lol should have just kept his lands and the creature XD. Do you think you can pull moves like this off consistently with the deck or was this just a nice situation of drawing just what you needed :D
They almost came roaring back to get us. Atraxa got them set up with plenty of cards to recover and they had excellent life gain with the Cornucopia. The deck does alright, we usually get the fight combo in about 20-25% of games. Sometimes it leaves opponents with barely any permanents and sometimes it cripples them enough that they can't fight for much longer.
@@doglife_ok It's alright, use what you do have and work on getting the things you need. The swords are not important, so sub in something for them. The rest works so well together that you'll want to slowly collect the pieces. It's a fun and powerful deck that gives you loads of options so it's worth it to spend the Wild Cards. Good luck, my friend!
Hello! I would like to know if is easy to build a good Dragon deck on MTG Arena without have to paid for get the cards faster? Im asking that because i am new to this game.
My friend, the dragons are rares or mythics unfortunately. It would be very difficult to get them without spending a significant amount. Playing for free does take some time to get the cards you want, but it can be done. It does require a heavy time investment. Good luck, my friend.
My apologies, my friend. I was close to the deadline on this one and didn't have time to check the volume as I usually do. Maybe I should quit my day job, lol.
@@TheSharkSide love your vids! been searching for some simulacrum type decks love the ones you showed! between this one and the hasty robot which would you say will do better
@@1454killamike Thank you, my friend! The Simulacrum decks have been so much fun to play we made several versions, lol. This one is the most fun and probably the strongest as well.
"Now let's line up a nice big hit while they're tapped out" Oh cool so you're gonna use that scrutiny and draw a million cards to buff up the token.... oh no I guess not lol Still a good game though
Колода слишком тяжёлая, много больших карт. В стандарте она будет не играбильна против любой агрессивной колоды И как можно было не положить хотя бы по одной базовой земле каждого типа
Sure, Mono Red and Boros might have us in most games but I think we demonstrated we can handle decks with numbers of enemy men. The number of times that opponents have land destruction is rather small, if it happened every game we'd play basics.
I did consider it, but I found it more fun to go for infinite turns as well as to demonstrate that as the end game in most games if you were to play the deck. I'm honestly rather surprised you're the only one so far to notice that, lol.
My friend, it's a weird deck isn't it? We're still working on the deck list, it isn't as consistent as we'd like. What does give us a chance is that there are some card interactions that allow us to pop off much like a combo deck. We are bad against Mono Red and Boros but we do play well against Midrange and even some Control. We really have a chance against any decks that aren't able to kill quickly. If we get into the late game we have a chance. Once we finalize the deck list we'll get a video out to show what we have. Thanks again, my friend!
Here's the list, my friend. Deck 6 Forest 6 Mountain 4 Terror of the Peaks 2 Burn Down the House 2 Storm the Festival 4 Rockfall Vale 4 Topiary Stomper 4 Riveteers Overlook 4 Ziatora's Proving Ground 3 Invasion of Karsus 4 Volcanic Spite 3 Kogla and Yidaro 4 Up the Beanstalk 3 Anzrag, the Quake-Mole 4 Railway Brawler 3 Smuggler's Surprise
Tried to build very similar stuff, but with main win con as geralf and rush as secondary option. Jace is really good with both of the cards, but unfortunaly jeralf is too slow and i met too many boros convoke on my way and lost motivation. It`s a shame that path of peril is leaving us, otherwise i would craft it and maybe not felt that bad. Scourge of bo1.
Ouch, that's unfortunate, my friend. There are times when I run into a lot of Boros and Mono Red but I evaded them for the most part with this deck. There really is nothing like Path of Peril to bring in. Deadly Cover-Up is too slow and cards like Malicious Malfunction can clean everything up.
My friend, you can try Bounce, targeted removal, or something to help the Mentor stay alive or get him back from the grave. Out of those, I think I'd go with removals.
My friend, we are still working on the deck, but here is the list we have so far.
