i mean, if i see a scorch sshot pyro in mvm its more probably that the scorch shot gets kicked more often than a gaspasser pyro (which both is bs why raging for a weapon in a game?)
People kick scorch shot pyros in mvm because you can make the sniper miss, you can ruin the demo's stickytraps, you make the soldiers lose on splash damage, you prevent spies from backstabing, it screws with the robots' aggro and predictive movement, you prevent the scout's max ramp-up, you make a backburner pyro harder to reach the back and you make the heavy suffer more fall-of All in all, almost every class is affected negatively by spamming the scorch shot
