Just because Rhaenyra had a Valyrian Steel sword doesn't mean the Targaryens had it during the conquest. We know Daemon liked to give gifts to Rhaenyra, and he had a dragon so it would've been much easier for him to travel to Essos, maybe even Old Valyria, or other places that might house Valyrian Steel blades. Euron also plundered a massive chest of Valyrian Steel daggers which, while not swords, indicate that Valyrian Steel was probably somewhat common in Valyria. It stands to reason Essos likely has quite a few Valyrian Steel blades of their own. Besides, not every sword is as storied as Ice, Dark Sister, Blackfyre, or Heartsbane. If Valyrian Steel was truly much more common in the Freeholds, it's unlikely every single sword would be recorded in history as legendary blades. Especially one such as this, which while beautiful isn't exactly as striking of a sword as any of the ones currently in the lore. -HOTD Spoilers Ahead- As for what may have happened to it after the Dance, it's impossible to say. Maybe it gets burned alongside Rhaenyra and her children. Maybe it gets lost during the Blackfyre Rebellions, the shows clearly operate in a different timeline from the books and this era is lacking in information currently in the showverse. Maybe Daeron took it south and it was lost in the Dornish Conquest. There are a lot of possible explanations for why it doesn't show up later in lore, especially if it wasn't nearly as notable as the Targaryen heirloom swords.
I would love to see nettles not having any valarian blood i mean it's kinda cool to see a common girl who was able to tame a dragon bcz of her intelligence maybe she didn't bond with the dragon like blood bond but she created a trusted relation between her and the dragon

People say the Dornish were dishonourable for such tactics but I don't see it that way. Why should they volunteer to give open battle and get themselves killed by dragonfire? Who does that help? Let's not forget the Targaryens started the war by an unprovoked invasion of Dornish sovereignty hence the Dornish were well within their rights to use whatever means they could to defend themselves. Nothing is dishonourable about defending your land, the only dishonourable ones are the entitled invaders who refused to accept that the Dornish had a right not to be subjugated against thier will.
@@leeshropshire6346 says who? That's not how feudalism works. Fuedalism works by oaths and the Dornish had sworn no oaths to the Iron Throne hence by law they owed them no allegiance

I wouldn’t exactly call that a victory. The more powerful side showed honor and respect by accepting their challenge and won, the Dornish were just deceitful and snuck away in fear.

They showed dishonor first by relying on their dragons or invading lands. And it's not honor what they showed, just stupidity, the greatest honor is in surviving the dudes who made everyone else bend the knee
