This is not the best type of battery for this application. A battery designed to start an engine is less effective in range on electric vehicles. Next time I'll ask a local expert at a battery store.

Thank you! I watched another video where they said to drop the staples in the barrel. Didn’t work! I had everything except flipping up the pusher bar….which you can’t do with the barrel open.

Back mechanism doesn’t open is there something else to push or pull?

Do not use a car or motorcycle battery. Do use a deep cycle battery made for devices that don't require starting up a gas engine.
