Hello and welcome! My name's Shawna and I currently live in Scotland. I started documenting my Edinburgh explorations on Instagram (@exploringedinburgh), which gradually developed into this channel! I definitely don't have the best equipment or editing software (yet), but I hope you enjoy watching my videos as much as I enjoy making them.

The house at Abbotsford is on of my all time favourite destinations I always visit when I’m in the area. The Hill House in Helensburgh is a close second though and also well worth a visit.

Absolutely beautiful! I love Abbotsford so much! It is so rustic & charming, both inside & out.This is one of my most favorite places of all. The Gardens are also truly enchanting! Moreover, your filming & footage is superb! Thank you for sharing this delightful experience at wonderful Abbotsford! Blessings to you Shawna!
I didn't mention in the video but once you get off the train at Tweedback you can either: - Catch the Abbotsford mini bus (check their website for times as it doesn't run every day) - Walk from Tweedbank Station taking only 20 minutes if you follow the signposted 'Abbotsford Link'.
Nice video thanks.I do love physical books its just not the same on a kindle or E-Reader you dont get the same smell or experience plus where i stay most of the libraries i had growing up in 70s and 80s are now closed and only place i have access to old books is a charity shop in the small village i stay in.
Hoping all is well now. The rooftop is the thing l regret the most as l didn't know about this place so l missed out on this during my trip couple years ago. But maybe someday in the future l will be able to return and see it. Thank you for sharing these amazing places of my favourite city.
It’s an ongoing thing but I’m feeling much better now, thank you!! ☺️ Don’t feel too bad about it as the rooftop at the W only opened within the last year so didn’t actually miss it on your visit but definitely something to add to your future visit. I also don’t think you need to dine to get the views (I should have mentioned in video that it’s just on the top floor of the hotel) 😊

12:24 Scrumptious 😋 Fringe Festival seems always so eventful (from a distant observer oversea 😅). Hopefully I would at least attend one event from the Festival in my lifetime one day.. And I hope things are getting better with your family (and to all other families from across the world)

The sunny weather has been great, the plants in my greenhouse have loved it and it means you can delve into your summer wardrobe .Hope better times are just round the corner for you and your family. ( yes i noticed the krispy kreme for dessert after the fancy meal )

Loved this vlog Shawna! We're going to the Foodies Festival on Saturday at Inverleith Park & may go a wander around town afterwards! We also have a plan to hand out some free books during the festival period, maybe at The Meadows again - reminded me when you visited that lovely Little Free Library! Hi Shawna I love your videos. Scotland is a magical country specially Edinburgh. By watching all of these places videos I really want to be there.
